Chapter 21Rosey got home from work. She enjoyed the detective bureau. She’d applied a few times, but it was never important to her to be accepted. Maybe being older made the difference. She felt great about the oral interview, and she’d work for a lieutenant she liked and respected. In fact, if Pat McGuire had a warrant to arrest the devil, she’d stroll into hell with him to serve it.
She hugged Jade. “Hey, have you given thought lately to what you want to do with your life?”
