In between runs, I decided that I had to go to Selena’s place. I had not seen her since that night, and it didn’t feel right. If I were the one who had been hurt, she would have come to me. I sighed as I stuffed the invitation card deep into my pockets, and changed tracks that would lead me directly to her place. A couple of the pack members greeted me respectfully as I passed by, and I smiled in return.
