"How dare you talk to any member of this pack like that?" Alpha Alarick snapped in disgust.
I blinked, slightly taken aback by Alpha Alarick's harsh tone. And, when I turned my gaze to him, he was glaring at me like I had done something so abominable. Who was this woman to him to elicit such intense emotions?
He slid his hands through his hair, and suddenly gestured to the door. "In fact, I'm not interested in changing words with you. You're not so special anyway. Just get out of my office."
"Alpha Alarick," I whispered so quietly.
"Didn't you hear me? Leave! You can go around to irritate someone else. I don't want to see you in my office anymore, understand?"
His words were so cold, and it made me feel as though I was drowning. How could he be so comfortable humiliating me like this.
