EPISODE 17:The Song Of Becoming

622 Words
The Song spread across the worlds like dawn breaking through endless night. It was not sung by one voice, nor guided by any Keeper—it was the harmony of countless lives awakening to their own light. In Eldoria, the academy had become a sanctuary of creation. No longer a place of study alone, it was a gathering point for dreamers, inventors, and wanderers from every realm. The fountain at its heart glowed brighter than ever, its waters now flowing upward into the sky, forming a column of silver mist that connected earth and stars. Seren stood before it, her wrist still marked by the symbol that had awakened in her dream. The mark pulsed in rhythm with the fountain’s glow. “It’s calling again,” she whispered. Master Daren joined her, his eyes reflecting the shimmer of the moons. “The Song is changing. The worlds are beginning to weave their own verses together. The Veil may be gone, but something greater is forming in its place.” Seren looked up at the sky. The constellations shifted subtly, forming new patterns—bridges of light that linked one world to another. “It’s like the Veil is being reborn,” she said. “Not reborn,” Daren replied. “Reimagined. The Keepers gave us freedom. Now we must decide what to do with it.” That night, Seren returned to her chamber and found the air humming softly. The mark on her wrist glowed brighter, and the walls dissolved into starlight. She stood once more on the bridge between worlds, but this time, she was not alone. Figures appeared around her—young, old, human, and not. Each bore a faint mark of light, each carrying a fragment of the Song. They looked to her as the melody swelled, intertwining their voices into a single, rising harmony. A voice echoed through the stars, familiar yet distant. “The Song belongs to all who remember the light. Guide it, Seren. Let it grow.” She turned toward the sound and saw two figures standing at the far end of the bridge—Lyria and Kael, radiant and calm, their forms woven from pure moonlight. “Are you real?” Seren asked. Kael smiled. “As real as the dawn that follows night.” Lyria stepped forward, her voice gentle. “The worlds no longer need Keepers. But they need those who listen. The Song is alive now—it will shape itself through those who dare to dream.” Seren felt the melody rise within her, filling her chest with warmth. “Then I’ll listen. I’ll help it grow.” Lyria nodded. “Then you are the first of the Children of the New Dawn.” The bridge flared with light, and the figures around Seren lifted their hands. The Song burst outward, rippling through the stars, touching every world, every heart. The moons aligned once more, their light merging into a single, radiant sphere. When the vision faded, Seren stood again in the courtyard. The fountain’s water now flowed upward into the heavens, forming a spiral of light that reached beyond sight. The mark on her wrist had changed again—no longer the symbol of the Keepers, but a new one: a circle of stars surrounding an open flame. Daren approached, awe in his eyes. “What have you done?” Seren smiled softly. “Not me. All of us. The Song has found its voice.” Above them, the sky shimmered with new constellations—each one a world singing its own verse, yet all part of the same endless melody. The age of the Keepers had ended. The age of the Song had begun. End of Episode 17
