Chapter 56

Sahmed crossed his two daggers, sparks flying from the collision. He turned the two around his fingers in a fashionable way providing a little bit of entertainment for the onlookers. “He is quite skilful with the Aradian daggers" one councilman nodded in approval. Justin's eyes was slowly drawn in by the motion of the daggers. It was quite...attractive Sahmed smiled below his covering knowing his trick had caught on. With a fluidly discreet motion, he released one of the daggers at Justin and kept twirling the other. Justin was looking at the daggers like some hypnotized fool when suddenly the curved but sharp blade of the danger enlarged in his view. He quickly reacted and shifted his face but the danger was all too quick. The danger cut him an inch or two below, narrowly missing his eyes. Blood dropped down his face staining his cheeks. “you is quite fast eh?” sahmed spoke to Justin as he stretched him arm out calling back the dagger. Justin didn't fall for it this time and he properly dodged the stack of the dagger. Sahmed chuckled in response. Justin decided to test the waters too with an attack of his own. He spun chain from its middle, dancing it around in a circle. His carried this circular dance forward as he ran at sahmed. Sahmed got into battle stance, his two daggers positioned in front of his face crisscrossed. Justin's attack came quickly, with the base of the axe being the first attacker. Sahmed threw his dagger at the axe meeting blade for blade and deflecting the attack, rendering it’s force null. Still, Justin's attack was all but done as the spiked parts of the chain came in for the second attack. The second curved dagger trapped the chain ad spun, enthralling the body of the chain round it’s blades and bringing the user close. Being trained since birth, sahmed never lacked in speed and Justin just witnessed it first hand. But...Justin’s attack still wasn’t done. Sahmed was left defenceless since his two daggers were gone, which was Justin’s exact plan. A perfect kick landed right beneath sahmed’s jaw and sent him up into the air. As he fell, the second leg of Justin landed alright on his cheeks sending his sliding down the white sparkly floor. “Incredible" Lord Plato’s eyes shone watching the techniques displayed by Justin. He seemed to have taken a liking to him after seeing him with the stealth skill. Asmodieus clenched his fists. That was a good move Justin displayed, but he knew all too well that sahmed wouldn’t g down that easily. Like thought, sahmed was quick to get on his fist and he summoned his two daggers to his hands as he fixed his jaw which had dislocated a bit. “it is honour to battle man like you" sahmed bowed and removed his scarf. His face underneath looked like something that was barely rescued from a savage fire. “master tell me anytime I meet man worthy of fight me, I should no hold back" he said then opened his mouth wide revealing a completely charred inside. It was a miracle he could even speak with the state of his mouth. A orange glow rapidly grew brighter and sort of redder. Fire emerged from his mouth which he directed at his daggers. The two daggers strangely caught fire and something do that could only be termed ‘disgusting smile’ formed on sahmed face. As the danger burnt, he brought them close together, at the tip, and they began fusing. Justin contemplated on if he should attack or not, it could be dangerous to rush in now but it could even be more dangerous if he let his opponent finish preparing whatever damnation he was cooking. This isn’t dragon ball where he’d wait for his opponent’s transformation...nah, this is attack on f*****g titan (protagonist was a weeb in previous life *sigh*) He threw the spike end of the chain at sahmed, aiming for the hands he used in fusing the weapons. “Did you think i stay undefend?” a clone appeared just as the spear was about to hit sahmed’s hands. The clone caught the chain with its bear hands and drew it away from sahmed body. It then vanished. Before Justin could attack again, two more clones appeared just right beside Justin and attacked him. Justin was spot on his reaction time as he did a beautiful stunt in the air and avoided the attack of the two simultaneously. He caught their heads in the air and as he fell, he utilised the momentum and bashed the two heads together then he landed perfectly on his two feet. ‘Damn, that taichi really did help’ he thought. At a random time in the night he practised the taichi, the system had sent him a notification of his ability being increased by five points! That was why he worked so hard on the taichi that night and was tired the following day. “focus!” asmodieus voice warned Justin just about the time the figure of a katana sliced at his head. Luckily he had the voice early enough and dodged, but lost the top of his green air in the process. The katana changed directly almost immediately and sliced down, missing Justin narrowly again. Justin skilfully rolled away from the danger. He could see the remains of what was once beautiful green hair lying on the floor. For the first time joy could be seen on athena's face as she watched the match. The bastarf’s hair had been caught off and it visibly affected him! The katana gave him almost no time to think and charged forward without cause. It's deathly blade heading for Justin. Since the floor was smooth, Justin used that to the advantage and slid right under the katana reaching the handle. He let go of his weapon and immediately grabbed the katana's handle and with the powerful force of his legs, he jumped right off the floor and with the katana of his attacker...He attacked his opponent! ... Sahmed was still fusing his daggers and was not ready for much sudden skilfully ad masterfully executed attack. He had to leave the fusing daggers and retreat of if he had any intention of surviving the next second. Justin attacked missed as it hit the floor of the training ground but it was not vain as had successfully stopped his opponent from fusing the daggers. Then, a bright idea popped up in his head, why not use the opponents medicine against them...Like he had done just a second ago! While sahmed retreated, Justin took hold of the opportunity and grabbed the burning dagger which were conjoined now. He pushed them together with all his might as they began fusing. “noooo" Sahmed’s eyes opened wide, he stopped retreating and went back for Justin. He couldn’t let the man fuse the daggers! But it was too late, as he was about to distract Justin, a powerful shockwaves sent him flying into the councilmen's seats. The councilmen didn't seem to be disturbed by the and they even encouraged him to get up and fight on. It wasn’t everyday that they got to see a match of this calibre, especially not with matter they had at hand. Sahmed was unconcerned ab9ut to his position, the horror on his face spoke of something even more frightening. Justin seemed to be in a trance as a bead covered his head and a body armor resembling that of what the Persians wore covered his body. A kilt tied around his waist and sandal replaced the shoes he wore. Black paint appeared on his eyelid stretching to the outer regions and almost reaching his ears. “The Aradian warrior" sahmed muttered “how this possible....?” Justin had transformed into the Aradian warrior! Although this was unsettling, this wasn’t the major problem though. The problem was...how?! Only people trained in the secrets aradian arts could even wish of transforming into this warrior and still not everyone could. Only a select few out of those could actually transform...Like him. If anyone else tried to do so they would be killed by the force of the warrior He had tried to stop Justin from fusing the daggers because he wanted to prevent his death, since this was just a spot match there was no need for any deaths. But to his surprise...This guy f*****g transformed! Asmodieus himself was shocked. If Justin had fought like this with him then the results would have ended very differently. Justin looked at the weapon in hand with extreme familiarity. It was a crescent dagger that he felt like he had been wielding for hundreds of years. It was like it spoke to him, welcoming him after a long time of absence. “No no no...how this possible, how!” sahmed was on the verge of madness. This man wasn’t even a aradian practitioner. What in the f*****g hell was happening. Ahmed stood by the entrance of the training ground with an equally perplexed expression. A great surprise this was, that a non practitioner could embody the Aradian warrior with no issues or complications. Justin was suddenly filled with vigor, he had a sudden thirst for battle and he charged at the nearest man he could see...sahmed. Justin was next to him in a flash. Sahmed had taken the two poked knives he kept hidden and he used it to defend himself. Atleast it was better than sulking over his two daggers. Metal hitting against metal rebounded across the ears of the audience. A swordfoght had ensued between the two (really more like a dagger fight though). Justin was pushing his back with the raw power behind his hits. He had forgotten all about his axe and chain and had fully gotten in sync with the crescent blade. Sahmed was desperate as he was being backed into a corner. Sooner or later he would come out the loser, which no one would want under normal circumstances. He summoned his clone and it attacked Justin from the back, he was hoping to at least get some breathing space but he was all too naive. Faster than the eye could follow, Justin’s unarmed hand swung to the back while his armed one swung at sahmed. The unarmed arm hit the clone with such force that it exploded immediately on impact. Sahmed did a backflip avoiding the harm but then Justin took a move out of his skill book....He flicked the crescent blade at sahmed. Sahmed was still in mid air when the blade slashed his leg, cutting so deep that even the bone became visible to the viewers. As sahmed fell, Justin landed right on him and delivered a punch on his face. One punch, two punch, three pun- oh wait....he's knocked out already! The crowd was silent. No one saw it coming. This man had shoot my defeated a blood brother, he was never once disadvantaged in the fight. It could be said that he even...dominated his opponent!
