Chapter 101

Lin xue caressed the double bladed sword in his hands while he stared at the man who had just arrived. The man whose death was said to give one a ticket to the next stage...who knows if that offer is still up?

He had gotten this sword from grindel and had kept it close to him as a spoil of battle. It's been almost thirty minutes since the ones in his section had finished and yet there was no candidate from other section that had done the same. It seemed like he difficulty of certain paths and sections varied...maybe his was just really easy.

Justin wiped the dust hat had settled on his butt and relaxed in a corner. Asmodieus wasn't here, neither was athena or Ronald. Seems like they have all been eliminated from this game except him....

Since the battles had sorta drained him, he wanted to take a nap. No one would be able to kill him here as killing ws restricted in this particular space so he would bs safe and sound even while he slept.

"System bring up the screen" he spoke quietly to the system. He wanted to check on his notifications. The system had adapted to his style of living and only informed him of notification when he was undisturbed. Of course it was good, but it was also disadvantageous in a way as he could have earned some benefits which could help him in whatever situation he found himself in currently.

The black screen was brought up with the usual menus and icons to go with it. The notification icon had a red dot on it indicating that he really had some notification that he hadn't seen.

He tapped on the icon and one notification popped up. The notification read;

Claim Reward: Yes/No*

"Oooh another skill book" he mumbled as he clicked on yes.

*Muay Thai skill book sent to inventory*

"System Summon the Muay Thai skill boon" without wasting time he told the system.

The Muay Thai skill book appeared on his laps almost immediately after he said that.

The Skill book was in resemblance to the Tai chi skill book but with a different design. It had a pair of boxing gloves embedded on its thick hard cover and a lock was placed on it.

He unlocked the book and opened it. As soon as he did that, a message popped up in his face *Are you willing to try the system's new function: Eidetic memory?*

"huh?....yeah...alright...how bad could it be? I wanna try it" he said after barely a second of thought.

*Eidetic memory function activated...Transferring contents of skill book directly to host's brain...1%...2%...5%* As the percents increased Justin suddenly felt an influx of information he had never seen or heard of before. The influx got larger as more information kept getting transferred to him. His head started to hurt badly and he clutched them while screaming out loud.

"Eh...what's going on with that man?"

"Ayoo isn't he Justin Craig? Did someone attack hin or something?"

Some noticed Justin 's behaviour and discussed about it. Lin xue's interest was also piqued as he stared at Justin.

The veins on Justin 's forehead bulged and glowed a bit.

*80%...90%...99%...100%...Contents of Muay Thai skill book successfully transfered to host's brain...Eidetic memory function successful...Putting host to sleep...Host has been put to sleep...activating conscious unconscious state...conscious unconscious state activated*

Justin vision was taken away and his body dropped weakly to the floor,his mouth open and tongue out like he had just taken a drug overdose.

He opened his eyes to darkness which was gradually chased out by an increasing white light.

"Wh...what happened?"One moment he was screaming and then the next moment he had entered the conscious unconscious state again?

"You successfully tried out the Eidetic memory function of the system. All Muay Thai skill contents are now currently in your memory waiting for direct assess. System has brought you here to aid in learning the Muay Thai skill book*

As the words of the system made Justin think of the Muay Thai skill book, massive pictures with words under them suddenly appeared all over the place. the picture didn't remain still as some of them even moved, demonstrating the proper motion of the moves that were seen.
