CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL CANDIDATE IN THE TOP TEN LIST. YOU HAVE EARNED THE RIGHT TO BECOME INSPECTORS IN THE HUNTER'S GATHERING. INSPECTOR RANK WILL BE ARRANGED IN ORDER OF POINTS EARNED.

THESE ARE THE SETTINGS AND RULES OF CHALLENGE TWO STAGE TWO 'HUNTER'S GATHERING'

PROGRESSED CANDIDATES WILL BE DIVIDED INTO TWO SECTIONS: INSPECTORS AND HUNTERS.

LIKE PREVIOUSLY, THE PRIMARY GOAL OF THIS CHALLENGE IS TO EARN ENOUGH POINTS TO TAKE YOU INTO THE NEXT CHALLENGE.

THE HUNTERS WILL BE PLACED IN A PATH, EACH TO HIS OWN. THESE PATHS WILL POSSESS FRUITS TILL THE END.

THE ROLE OF THE HUNTERS IS TO GATHER AS MUCH FRUIT AS THEY CAN BEFORE THE TIME RUNS OUT*

*THE INSPECTORS HAVE SPECIAL ROLES. FIFTEEN CANDIDATES ARE ASSIGNED TO EACH INSPECTOR EXCEPT THE INSPECTOR GENERAL, WHICH IS THE TOP RANKER, WHO IS ASSIGNED TO SEVEN CANDIDATES.

THE INSPECTORS ARE TO STOP THEIR ASSIGNED CANDIDATES FROM ACQUIRING ENOUGH FRUITS TO PASS THE ROUND. ALL INSPECTORS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH AUGMENTING WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR EARNED POINTS.

INABILITY TO STOP SO MUCH AS ONE OPPONENT FROM GATHERING THE SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF FRUITS NEEDED, THE CORRESPONDING INSPECTOR WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ELIMINATED.

CANDIDATE'S PATHS WILL ALSO BE MADE EASIER DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF POINTS THEY EARNED IN THE PREVIOUS ROUND.

"I guess it's expected huh...." the man who had been happy earlier had a saddened face. It was too good to believe but he had chosen to, now reality stared him right in the face. the next round wasn't going to be as easy as he thought.

Others immediately started preparing for the next round after the announcement. They couldn't be as unprepared as they were in the first round. Be it fire, be it hail, be it water, they would be more prepared for whatever came after the last challenge's lesson.

Justin sighed imediateky he finished reading the words. His job as an inspector didn't look less easier than the candidates jobs. He wondered why he even strived to get so much points when it would eventually become useless.

Ronald looked at Justin suspiciously. He understood the rules of the next challenge pretty clearly. A thought then came into his head. What if he is made a part of justin's assigned candidates....? He repeated a silent prayer as that thought haunted him.

Justin noticed the strange look and asked. "What's up?"

Ronald shook his head of any hostile thoughts. This was still the man he had known for months. Although he had murdered tens of people in cold blood right in front of him but....he shouldn't be concerned should he? Justin would never harm him....

"It's nothing" he smiled and avoided eye contact with justin.

Justin thought it pretty unusual but still brushed it off. He had other things to worry about now. He had pretty much finished all his stamina, strength, and endurance potions which means he wouldn't be able to pull that stunt he did if that type of situation ever comes up again. He was running low on supplies.

All he could afford were two more strength potions with the points he had and they would be finished. Even his overall health potion was only about three remaining...he had to do something to fix that in the next round.

"Azariel...." Personal assistant jalabi bowed as he held a scroll in his hand.

Five empty wine bottle stod on the table, with the six currently being drunk by Lord Plato.

He waved his hand sluggishly, giving jalabi permission to speak.

"I have done as you have asked and gathered the most information I can in this short amount of time. Here is what I have found" jalabi said as he unsealed the scroll.

"The lin sect was founded by the descendant of General Lin Vander, the fox lord of the five generals. He died in the heat of the great war and left a sole descendant who is currently the founder of the lin sect" he paused a bit before continuing.

"The lin sect is situated withing the towering mountain regions with its inhabitants already being trained to withstand the harsh weather up there.

The lin sect is a relatively peaceful sect with hardly any sign of enmity with any other sect. It's ways and practices are secretive but those who have had the opportunity of witnessing their ways speak no ill of them, even offering praises to their kindness" jalabi finished reading and closed up the scroll. "That is all my lord"

Lord Plato had stopped drinking so he could concentrate on jalabi's words. Hearing that the lin sect wasn't bad in anyway, his mind was relieved a bit. But that didn't mean all of them were...he one with his son could be one of the bad one for all he knew.

Thinking on that, depressing thoughts set on as he downed the whole wine bottle.

Jalabi sighed and excused himself. He had never seen Azariel like this...not for a long time, not since that time....

The countdown remained only thirty minutes. In this span of time, some had succumbed to their injuries and died Bringing the whole number of surcingles candidates down to a hundred and thirty five. So ofcourse, in accordance with this change, a change also had to me made in the challenge's settings.
