7-STRANGE REALLY STRANGE

VEER's P.O.V:

I was waiting for her at the parking lot for the past 15 minutes. She seems sweet and helpful to me, so I don't think so she will ditch me Or anything. I think she is just confused about my sudden query about a random girl. But I am sure when she will know the full story, she will definitely help me.

-'hey Veer, I am sorry, you had to wait.' She said quietly. I don't know why, but it seems like she is afraid of me Or uncomfortable with me. She couldn't even look at my eyes. Her silky hair was blowing by the night breeze, her eyes were shining, and there was a small smile which looks really good on her. Wait, take a pause Veer, what are you doing? Just concentrate on your work, and don't look at her like that okay.

-'that's completely okay Anisha, I was enjoying myself.' I said with a smile, otherwise I am sure she will be feeling guilty.

-'oh okay, can you tell me now what kind of a help you need from me?

-'okay so back to my story, Anisha can you remember I was once a student of this school. I transferred from here in third standard.'

-'ye... yeahhh, I remembered' she said shuttering. Why is she so frightened of me, I don't get it.

-'so at that time your friend Nikita was also in our class, right?' I said straightforwardly, because I don't like to elaborate any conversation. After hearing this she seems confused.

-'yeah she was in our class from first standard.' She said leaning on the car. There are lots of curiosity on her face.

-'actually at the time of my transfer, I got to know one thing, that there was a girl who used to help me without knowing my identity. And i was so touched by that thing, you have no idea. As I said before, I don't have any real friends. So after knowing that there is someone who cares for me for myself and not for my money, I was delighted. But as I was already transferring, I didn't search for that girl. Still now I couldn't forget about her. I really really want to know her, I want to know she still has feelings for me Or not' I said desperately and after telling my truth I looked at Anisha, and I was surprised after seeing water in her eyes. Why is she crying? I have no idea what came over me, I literally hugged her.

This is the first time in my life I hugged some girl with concern. I mean I hugged many girls before, but I just hugged them just for formality or for my benefits. But for this girl, I don't know what I felt that I hugged her tightly, and she felt really good in my embrace. Her body is fitted in my body as she is made for me only. Wait Veer, this is very wrong. You cannot have these kind of feelings towards her. She is not any random girl, she is the best friend of Nikita. Yes Nikita, for whom you have waited so many years. I didn't want to, but finally I was able to be separate from her.

- 'so Anisha, did you know that the girl I am talking about is Nikita.'

Her eyes suddenly became big, and she was so shocked as if she had seen any ghost. Why is her reaction always this extreme. One day I am going to get a heart attack if I talk to this girl.

-'wait, did you say Nikita? But how did you know that the girl is Niki? I mean did you see her?' Finally she said, after her staring session.

-'umm no, I didn't see her, but I have my ways.' I winked at her, for lightening her mood.

-'come on, tell me, how did you find out that the girl is Niki. Please tell me, I really need to know this.' She said with pure curiosity and concern. I think she is concerned about her friend. I mean I have seen how much these two girls are close to each other. So I can guess, where is the concern is coming from. As my reputation with girl is not so good.

-'actually at that time, she told me that she is a scholar. And there is just two scholar girls in our class. So my heart recognized her immediately after seeing you both today.' I told her with a smile. Because whenever I think about Nikita, I cannot help but smile. She is so beautiful, charming, as I imagined her all those years. She is like a sunshine on winter morning, like a water droplet on summer. Okay just stop here lover boy. You have a company, remember.

But why is Anisha became speechless. There is a look of vulnerability and helplessness in her eyes, as if she wanted to say lots of things to me. Again my heart felt heavy after seeing her sad face. Is she sad because I knew her friend's secret, or because her friend had moved on.

-'Anisha please say something. Is there any problem? Is Nikita had moved on from me? Is there is someone in her life? Please tell me, I swear this is not any game Or anything. I genuinely have feelings for her, trust me.' Again I said desperately.

She straightened her body from the car, readjusted her hair and clothes and finally looked at me with a fake smile. Yes a fake smile, as after spending little time with her I knew what is like her real smile. Her eyes become big, her nose become pink and there is a little dimple on her right chick if you see closely.

-'Veer I don't know she still has feelings for you or not. But I will talk to her tomorrow, and will let you know surely. I think I have to go now, take care and good night Veer.'

-'okay Anisha, thank you so much for listening to me.'

And again she did not even look at me, and gone from there. I couldn't think about anything other than her at that night. I didn't even think about Nikita. Strange, really strange!!
