Chapter 3

The morning was just great. Almost being late. Getting yelled at by the teacher. And having some random dude trip me.

If not for my cover they would already be dead. Or would be if not for the fact that I left my weapon behind in the gang base. But I still got my fists.

Now it's lunch time and I'm sitting with my friends at the rooftop. Right now we were talking about Lindsey's long lost brother that she just recently met.

"So... When can we meet him?" Asked Beth. It seems she was really exited. I can already guess it's because it reminds her of one of stories taht she read. She loves reading stories.

Lindsay was still shocked at this unexpected news and I guessed she would like to know him better herself first so I proposed to meet him next week. She agreed.

TIMESKIP

For the past week I was feeling anxious. I felt eyes on me whenether I went. I even tried to catch this person but he or she got away.

'Why would someone follow me? '

Right now I was on my way to Lindsey's house. We agreed to meet there to see the so called mysterious brother.

As I was passing an alley I heard some hushed voices. I was planning on ignoring it but when I heard the name of my ex gang I decided to listen in.

I leaned against the wall. I couldn't hear much but still got to know that they were planning on attacking our base.

I started running. I didn't really know what to do. 'Should I warn them? No... It's none of my business now...'

I didn't want for them to find me after me trying so hard to dissapear from their lives.
