Vod wasn't so far away. In about an hour, we were already getting closer to the land where that vampire had taken my nephew. Morgan on the other hand was quiet throughout the hike. He had used dark magic again, at his own kind. That did not seem like something that would blow off in a while. When we got to Vod, I decided to break the silence.
"Are you okay?" I asked him. He sighed
"I just broke everything I stand for. I broke my vow. I used dark magic against a brother. What does that make me?"
"Well, you are trying to do the right thing. That I'm sure of. You just need to help me find the æye, then you can kill your mysterious magic lady because frankly, that seems to be the only way for you to escape this mess you're in."
