A cheer erupted from above as I struggled to open my eyes. They felt heavy, like they were being pulled by some invisible force. I groaned and my own voice became distorted to my hearing. I struggled to sit up and as my eyes adjusted slowly to the dark room I was in, I tried to remember what had happened..my memory was foggy. I couldn't seem to remember how I got there. It was like a part of my memory was wiped. I sat down in silence, feeling my breath settling down.
"You're awake. Finally." A female voice spoke from a side of the room. It was unfamiliar. I looked through the darkness and used my powers to see her face.
