The next morning, the emergency siren blared loudly. Victor rushed to the upper deck to alert everyone.
“The patrol boat from Command is here! They're fully armed!” he shouted.
“Oh, no!” Kane quickly responded.
Kane also shouted into the radio to warn his friends again. “They're not coming to pick us up, they're coming to attack us! Watch out, guys!”
“Danger!” Tania was immediately alert. So were Andreas and Yasmin, who went on standby after receiving the warning.
Bullets whizzed through the metal walls. Explosions now shook the ship. Seawater poured in from the right side.
Yasmin screamed, “They're shooting at us! Aren't we their allies?”
Andreas slammed the communication console. “Turn off the transponder! They’re using the identification code to lock onto their target!”
