LINDSEY'S POV
My nurse didn't lie when she said that it was not going to be easy. It wasn't. After the scene at Kevin's ward, I was not allowed to go back and check on him because he was not doing so well.
It was taking a toll on me. I was stressed. I didn't know what to do. Most of the time, I stayed awake hoping and praying that things will be okay soon.
I couldn't help but wonder what we did to deserve this. Especially Kevin. Wait, was this like a lesson that I was supposed to learn from? Or this was just one of the hardship that will strengthen our relationship more?
I hope that the latter was the case. We have already learnt all the lesson we could possibly learn.
Right now we needed to get out of this place and be happy.
