  My hand slipped, and the glass hit the floor with a loud crash. I stood up without thinking. At the same time, the guy in the baseball cap bolted toward the back door of the bar.   I didn’t even get a chance to say anything to Summer—I just took off after him.   There was no fear in that moment. Just this burning need to know the truth.   Did he show up by accident?
