I startled awake, Like i do so many times a night, Dont know why but it alwasy happens, I end up looking around realizing where i am I some times drift back to sleep, So when my eyes popped open i looked across the room noticing i was in the livng room, Seeing it was still dark out, I figured i would just try and go bakc to sleep, Nix will be down soon to start his school lessons, I wasn't ready to get up yet. I know I was working the lunch and dinner shifts today, I could get a little more sleep till it was time to actually have to get up Rolling over, I pulled the blanket up to my chin, nuzzling into to cushion on the back of the couch, but instead of it being soft, it was the opposite.
