Rebel laid the papers on my desk. It's been a few days since the diner incident. Once she woke up, she had been pulling back; she had talked with anyone other than Monica. She gave the book to Drinks this month when he stopped by to see Nix. When we tried talking ot her about covering up Nixon's real name and giving him my last name, she said she was fine with it, but I could see the wheels turning. All she said was she was willing to do whatever to protect Nix,
