Earlier, Say was in the hidden part of the hall between the crowd and the service area. When she heard a resounding applause from inside the hall, someone pulled her out and the next thing she knew, the huge door of the Governor's Hall swept open, a spotlight was thrown in her direction as a deafening music welcomed her. She saw the animated crowd milling around, completely focused on her arrival, and now a rope of tension was coiled around her chest, suffocating her.
She was wearing the dress Brooke gave her last night. It was a dark red long dress with a slit as long as her legs can handle and a neckline with generous cut that showcased a bit of her skin.
