Chapter 23: His Jealous Self

Everyone's mouth was wide opened while watching the intense glare of the two and we now felt the bad atmosphere intensified.
"Wavina, did you tell him about us?" Polo inquired immediately.
"I did not. He just coincidentally witnessed everything that happened recently." I frankly admitted and went on my feet to walk out to grasp some fresh air because I felt like the air inside became polluted because of them. "Excuse me."
But Polo quickly grabbed my hand to stop me. "Why are you leaving?"
"I need some air!" I retracted my hand.
I hurriedly walked out from the room but Polo stubbornly chased me in the hallway. As he reached me, he immediately pinned me again against the wall. He was furious. "Wavina, in my entire life, you are the first one who humiliated me in front of people by your actions. Why you didn't even refute that Aderson's statement?"
I disgustingly frowned. "Why should I? What he said is true."
He gritted his teeth and towed me forcefully at my wrist. "Why do I feel you like him? Wavina, tell me, do you like him?" He yelled.
I was stunned. Was I that obvious? But I quickly composed myself. "I don't need to answer your question. Whatever your mind thinks, then it is."
He pinned me more tight on the wall like he wanted to strangle me to death. I didn't want him to just bully me so I pushed him with full strength. He staggered backward.
"You are such a slut. You just broke up with me yet you are now loving another man?"
I grouched as I chuckled. "Slut? So good of you Polo, huh. You were f*****g another girl in public with me around. Did you care about my feelings? Now, I like another man. You are mad at me and calling me slut? You're pathetic."
"I am a man. It wasn't a big deal. But you are different. You are a girl. A girl should only love one man."
"Why can't I but you can? Polo, for me man and woman is the same. If I wanted to f**k a lot of men, there is no difference with you men f*****g whoever they like to f**k with."
After that, I left him astounded. But it seemed he wasn't tired of chasing me around. He grabbed my body from behind and turned me, confining me into his possessive embrace. He whispered, "Didn't you said you can f**k with any men you want. Then have f**k by me now."
In my mind, I called him. 'So childish and shallow.'
We stayed in that position for a few minutes with our eyes connecting to each other. I read on Polo's eyes, the lust, anger, and craving for my body.
Surprisingly, a mighty mad palm zoomed Polo off from me as the other hand wrapped on my waist from behind in order Polo not to drag me along. Then Murphy protruded at my side. "One more touch at her and I will show you no mercy."
Murphy today seemed not himself. I already saw a lot of his other self but today was more serious. He was madly angry yet trying to hold it inside him.
He turned his blazing eyes on me and just suddenly dragged me out from Polo's sight and stopped in an almost hidden corner. "Wavina, what are you doing?"
I was astonished to the point I couldn't even flutter my eyelid. "What are you trying to say Mr. Aderson?"
He grinned fakedly and wow, damn he was too handsome. Though it was a faked grin, his deep dimples surfaced on his face and it was devilishly amazing. I didn't expect him to have those cute things. How much more if he really smiles sincerely? Hope so. Why hide it.
"Wavina, didn't you break up with him already? Why are you still letting him hold you?"
"Yes. I broke up with him but how could I prevent him from holding me? Moreover, what is it with you if he holds me?" I met his angry eyes.
"Damn it, Wavina. Did you like being hugged, touched, and kissed by two of us?"
"s**t! Whatever!"
"I warn you, Wavina. Don't mingle with him anymore or else-"
"Or else what? You want to break my neck? Mr. Aderson, you are so good at threatening people but you can't scare me with that. Furthermore, what are you being mad about?"
"I was angry because of you. You were absent for goddamn half and two days and now you are hugging with your ex-fiance? Didn't you say you like me? What? You change your heart again after seeing him today?"
I laughed bitterly. "Are you jealous?"
He kicked his foot on the ground. "Damn! Do I need to say that?"
I sniggered suddenly with my palm covering my mouth as I probe him from bottom to top. "Didn't you reject me?"
"Did I?"
"Yes. You did. You rejected me the last time. So you don't have the right to be mad whatever I am doing and whoever I wanted to be with."
He clenched his lips and stared at me blankly as he pulled me again abruptly at his embrace. One of his hands raised my chin to stare at his eyes. I was dazzled and wanted to melt by it. "I can refuse you Wavina but you-- you can only look at me. You are not allowed to set your sight on the other man."
I was stupefied. "You--you--"
I was wordless. I didn't know how to respond to him. If I would feel happy or sad with his statement. "Do you-- like me?"
Murphy was quiet but his eyes showed affection on me and I even heard him gulping. You could call me a shameless and desperate girl but though he was confusive towards me, I still wanted to kiss him and be wrapped in his arms.
I slowly reached his lips and as my lips just touched, he turned his head and bent to puke.
What a killjoy?
I held his shoulders and rubbed his back. Without asking permission, I grope the pockets of his pants.
He grasped my hand, "What are you doing? Are you going to do that in this public place?"
I laughed at him which made him frown in confusion. "What are you laughing at?"
I stopped immediately seeing his serious cold expression. "Murphy, you are so damn cute."
"What did you just call me?"
"Mur---Oh sorry! I'm being rude. I won't call you that again in the future."
"I like to hear it again. Say my name!"
"Murphy" I almost whispered.
He closed his eyes like he was savoring my voice. "It's pleasant to my ears."
"Oh, enough with that. Give me your phone and I will call Mr. Holli to pick you up. I wanted to go home too."
"No. Right now, I'm sure Dusk is busy. Why not, you do it?" He said as he just hiccups.
"Alright then. Tell me your address."
