*WAVINA JAVIER* "Amila?" I found Amila jumping on a living room with her hand holding her left toes. "What happened?"  "Silly sis, when was the last time you cleaned the house? Look, a rat bit my toe." Amila pouted, showing me her toe. I laughed. "Sis, could it be that your foot stinks so it attracts the rat." "You still laugh? Don't you know it hurts." "Okay. Okay. I know. Come, I will clean that for you. Sit down." I held her shoulder and pushed it down to sit her. As I was bringing out the medicine kit, Amila hit my head with a book from the table. "Ouch! Amila, why did you hit my head?" My brows collided as I caressed my head.  She motioned her head, "Who are these two guys?" I looked at the door where Amila was pointing at, and I saw Murphy and Dusk leaning their shoulders on both sides of the doorway with their hands also both inside their pockets. They were like doing a mirror reflection of themselves. Their reactions were somewhat confused while focusedly eyeing Amila.  'What's wrong with them? Always acting weird since early this morning.' "Oh I almost forgot about it. Let me introduce you to each other. Amila, this is my boss, Mr. Aderson and his buddy Mr Holli. Mr. Aderson , Mr. Holli, this is my sister, Amila."  "Why are you hanging with them? Wavina, don't tell me you are collecting guys now? Gosh, in a few days you are going to get married. Don't ruin your reputation." Amila looked at them with a strict and protective face. I pressed the cotton ball hard on Amila's toe and she yelled, retracting her foot in haste from my thigh." You witch, it's painful. Are you going to kill me?" I rolled my eyes on her. "Don't exaggerate it. That was too far from your bowels." "Tse! ...Ehhh? I almost forgot. Why didn't you come home last night? Where have you been? Also, why I can't reach your number? Don't you know how worried I was?"  Amila was like my mother. Always nagging me. I couldn't do this, I couldn't do that.  I ignored her, and referred to the two guys instead. "Mr. Aderson, Mr. Holli, what are the two of you doing there? Please take a seat." I stood up to get them something to drink but Amila pulled back my hand.  "Sit down! I am not done inquiring you yet." Amila gave me a warning look.  "I want to get them something to drink, can't I?" "Okay.Hurry!" Although I was in the kitchen, I heard Amila's voice begin to interrogate the two. "With all due respect to the two Bosses, where did you bring my sister last night? I don't think staying outside all night as a boss and subordinates are an acceptable reason. What? You three did an overnight shift in the office?"  Murphy's cold voice answered. "We sent her to the hospital. I think that reason is enough." "What?? Why? What happened to her?" Amila rose up from the couch. "Amila?" I reproof her while approaching them and carrying two glasses of juice and bread. Murphy didn't answer. His brows frowned as he was busy fiddling his phone screen. They didn't even bother to glimpse the juice and bread I served.  "Your sister was having a high fever last night. So we had to send her to the hospital and watch her." Dusk replied while beaming. Staring at Amila with attraction.  I laughed at him in my mind. If Dusk fell to Amila, he would definitely go to a tough job pursuing her because my sister is hard to please by others.  Amila glimpsed on me as I put down the tray. "Where is Polo? Why didn't he take good care of you? As his fiancee, he should be at your side. Instead of bothering others to watch you." I covered my hands on my ears because I hate to hear Polo's name.  "Wavina, who is Polo? What fiance?" Dusk inquired, wrinkling his forehead but still eyes on Amila.  Here came the other one. Sighed. I glanced at Murphy and I accidentally saw his expression become gloomy as Polo's name mentioned. "Wavina? Why don't you answer the question from either of the two of us?" Amila towed my arm and extended her palm. "Give me your phone."  "Why?" I frowned.  "Just give me." "If you want to call him, then don't waste your time. I don't have a phone." "Where's your phone?" Amila raised her brows on me. "It's gone. My phone is gone. My best friend is gone. And my fiance is gone. They were all gone in just one night." I said emotionally as I slowly sat myself on the couch.  Ouch! It's still hurt a bit to remember. Inadvertently, I and Murphy's eyes met. I didn't know why but I felt tense with his stare. "Gone? Then why? What happened? Don't you know I resigned from my work abroad because I was worried about you and I wanted to be there on your special day? Wavina, I am confused. When I left, you two were good. Why all of sudden, it's like this now?" Amila was walking back and forth while her hands raised open and waving near her ears. "Please Amila. I beg you. Don't mention his name anymore on me, okay?" I gave her a sad face.  "If you don't tell me, then I will go find him."  "HE HAD AN AFFAIR WITH NICA." Amila halted immediately as she was about to go and gradually turned herself on me. Her mouth was wide opened and her eyes narrowed.  "That b***h? How dare they do this to you? If I see them, I will skin them alive." Amila rubbed her temples in fury. Then she held me and comforted me with a sorry tone. "It's okay Sis. It's better that you found it early. They don't deserve a good girl like you." I nodded on her. I didn't cry anymore. Who were they for me to waste my tears? They don't indeed deserve it. "Okay, cast them out to our mind." Amila finally concluded. KNOCKED! KNOCKED! KNOCKED! Sound came from the door and soon after someone peeked their head from the door. "House Cleaning Service!" The young boy happily said.  "House Cleaning Service?" Dusk, I and Amila exclaimed simultaneously in surprise.  "Who called them?" Asked I at Dusk.  Dusk shrugged, pouting. "It's not me." And all our eyes set on Murphy. We don't need to ask. We already know who. As I looked at Amila, she gave me a dirty wink and teasing smirk.  Instantly, the house cleaners entered our house. I and Amila's eyes were popping wide as we saw not only several people come in but more than ten to clean such a small house.  As everyone was busy cleaning the house, I and Amila were just sitting in a corner like princesses. While Murphy and Dusk went on a small balcony outside the house. Unintentionally, I overheard their conversation.  "Dusk, investigate her." Murphy first opened up the topic.  "No problem. I will surely make it done." Dusk replied. "But do you have an idea why another one appeared?"  "What are they seriously talking about? Who did they want to investigate? And who was that other one?" I inaudibly mumbled.  "What are you mumbling?" Amila asked.  "Pssssssh! Quiet." I signed my index fingertip over my lips on her.  As I listened to them again, I could no longer hear their voices. Like they sensed I was listening.
