Elisse woke up cradled in Matt’s arms. She felt kisses on her hair so she knew that he’s awake. She lifted her head until they were face to face. Matt kissed her softly in the lips and greeted her “Hi, baby.” She replied with a smile.
Matt: “You asked Shannon for a leave today?”
Elisse: “I did, I emailed her yesterday.”
Matt: “She says a lot of nice things about you. She likes how you work and says you learn pretty fast.”
Elisse: “She’s a pretty good teacher.”
Matt: “I’m proud of you. I think you’re too good for the job you have. You should find something that suits you better.”
Elisse: “I am happy where I am.”
Matt kissed her on the forehead and tightened his hug.
Matt: “Get up, baby and get dressed. We need to talk.”
