“What did you say?”
I asked Brad and my heart just stopped.
James looks with his mouth wide open at Brad , while my fists are clenching. The source of all my problems in the last years is finally back. I can end this chapter of my life and begin again to live finally.
“Jane Pike is back.” Brad says just like that and throws himself on the sofa .
“Are you sure it's her?” James finally asks but almost growling I asked:
“Where is she?”
Brad just grabs the bridge of his nose and taking a deep breath closes his eyes.
