Jane had no idea what to say in front of Kendrick’s behavior. If it would be possible she would jump on him, but he acts like a bipolar and this “I hate you” and “I want you” games is making her crazy. And on the top of everything is the return of Frederick.
She can’t tell anyone, not even to Samy that he is back. Samy would freak out and she knows too well that she will ask her to go back to Nashville, which means that she will marry that freak.
She is not selfish. She knows that she can’t let Samy ruin her future out of the love and friendship they share.
So as soon as Kendrick arrived at Riggaton Design Co. Before he could say or do something she jumped out of the car and ran to the elevator as if her life was depending on that.
