"Come on Selene, I know you're hungry," Donovan sang, pulling me from the bedroom. It was well past noon and I'd now kept him to myself for nearly a day.
"I guess we should go," I conceded. "Besides I'm sure Hypatia will want to examine you." I walked him to the library since it was close to our room. We walked in to see Hypatia talking to Sebastian.
"Selene! Thank the Gods. And Donovan. So glad to see you up and running!" Hypatia said waving us over.
"Donovan this is Hypatia and Sebastian." I introduced them.
"You are who we sent our Evie to, huh? Thank you for keeping her safe," he said, shaking her hand.
"Oh," Hypatia laughed, "Evangeline takes care of herself."
"Evie always was stubborn," he laughed.
"So whats going on, Hypatia?" I asked, sensing an odd tension in the room.
