53 He had left his cases standing in the hallway at the guesthouse before going down to the village. When he entered, the sound of the TV came muffled through the closed living room door. The postman had recently been so he picked Mrs. Greyson’s letters off the mat and knocked on the door. Mrs. Greyson was sitting in her chair, watching the BBC local news.
