"He is not that bad Freda, I promise you" Candy replied calmly, how can I believe that the man who kidnapped my best friend and threatened to kill me is not a bad person?
"I find that hard to believe candy, I know you work for him and it's okay if you don't want to say anything bad about your boss but we both know that isn't true, Hardin is a monster," I said disagreeing with what she said, I can believe she is trying to whitewash Hardin.
"Believe it or not Freda, Hardin is a kind and loving man as far as you obey his rule and don't do anything to offend him" she replied with a smile on her face.
I couldn't tell if she was telling the truth or not but either way I didn't want to be here. "Okay," I replied because I didn't know what else to say so I just pulled my clothes
