...
The alien looking person just looked at her with those huge, piercing eyes, and Sarah felt a shiver run down her spine. She had never felt so helpless in her life.
But then, to her surprise, the alien spoke. "Do not be afraid, Sarah," it said in a strangely melodic voice. "We mean you no harm."
Sarah's eyes widened in disbelief. The alien was speaking to her in perfect English.
"What do you want from me?" she demanded, trying to keep the fear from her voice.
"We need your help," the alien replied.
"Our planet is in danger, and we believe you can help us."
Sarah's heart skipped a beat. It sounded like something straight out of a movie. But then she remembered the cold, hard reality of her situation. She was face to face with an alien
Sarah's heart was pounding as she looked up at the towering figure in front of her. He was unlike any being she had ever seen before, with his long, slender body and glowing blue eyes.
"Who are you?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
"I am Zax," the alien replied, his voice deep and rumbling. "And you are Sarah. You have been chosen to come with me."
Sarah's eyes widened in disbelief. "Chosen? What do you mean?"
Zax explained to her that his planet Tarkan, home to the Tarkanians, was facing a crisis and they were in need of a human female to help them reproduce. Sarah couldn't believe what she was hearing. It all sounded so surreal.
"I dont want to go with you," Sarah said, taking a step back. "You can't just kidnap me like this."
Zax's expression didn't change. "I am sorry, Sarah, but you do not have a choice in the matter. Our planet's survival depends on it."
Sarah was about to protest again when she suddenly felt a strange sensation washing over her. It was like a wave of energy, making her feel lightheaded and disoriented.
"What... what did you do to me?" she asked, feeling scared and confused.
"It is a sedative," Zax said, his voice now gentle. "You will be unconscious during the journey. I assure you, no harm will come to you."
And with that, everything went black.
Sarah woke up to find herself in a strange room, with a window that looked out onto a inky darkness that was clearly not Earth. As she sat up and took in her surroundings, memories of the previous night flooded back to her.
She felt a mixture of fear and confusion, wondering what was going to happen to her. Would she ever see her family and friends again? Would she ever be able to return to Earth?
Just then, the door to her room opened and Zax walked in . Sarah tensed up, unsure of what to expect.
"Good morning, Sarah," Zax said, his tone calm and measured.
"Where am I?" Sarah asked, her voice trembling.
"You're on my ship," Zax replied. "And before you ask, no, you can't leave just yet."
Sarah felt a lump form in her throat as she realized the gravity of the situation. She was a captive, and her fate was in the hands of these alien beings.
Zax sat patiently by Sarah's side, waiting for her to calm down. "I understand that you are scared and confused right now, Sarah," he said in his deep, rumbling voice. "But I promise you, we mean you no harm."
Sarah looked at him skeptically. "How can I trust you?" she asked, her voice shaking with fear.
"I know this is all very overwhelming for you," Zax replied. "But we brought you here because we need your help. Our planet is in danger, and we believe that you can help us."
Sarah looked at him incredulously. "What could I possibly do to help you? I'm just a human from Earth."
"
Zax hesitated for a moment before answering. "Our planet is different from yours, Sarah. We have never seen a female before, and when we learned that there was one on your planet, we had to bring you here."
Sarah's eyes widened in disbelief. "You kidn*pped me because I'm a woman?"
Zax sighed. "I know it sounds primitive, but we had no other choice. Our race is dying out because we cannot reproduce. We hoped that by bringing you here, we could mate and continue our species."
Sarah shook her head in disbelief. "You can't just take someone against their will and force them to mate with you."
"I understand that now," Zax said, his eyes downcast. "I apologize for what we have done to you. We will not force you to do anything you do not want to do."
Sarah frowned. "That's not good enough. I want to go home. You have no right to keep me here."
Zax nodded. "I understand. We will take you back to Earth as soon as we can."
Sarah nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope. "Thank you."
Zax stood up from the bed. "I will make sure you are comfortable here. If you need anything, just let me know."
With that, he left the room, leaving Sarah alone with her thoughts. She knew she couldn't trust Zax, but she had to find a way to escape this planet and get back to Earth.
Sarah lay awake, her mind racing with thoughts of escape. She knew she couldn't stay here forever, and she had to find a way back to Earth.
She looked around the room, searching for anything that could help her. Her eyes landed on a small metallic device sitting on a nearby table. She had seen Zax use it before, and she suspected it might be some kind of communicator.
Careful not to make a sound, Sarah tiptoed over to the table and grabbed the device. She held her breath as she pressed the button, hoping that it would work.
To her surprise, a voice crackled through the device. "Zax, is that you?" It was a male voice, one she didn't recognize.
Sarah quickly realized that the device was not a communicator after all, but some kind of tracking device. She had just revealed her location to whoever was on the other end.
Panic set in as she heard footsteps approaching the door. Sarah knew she had to act fast if she wanted to escape. She grabbed a nearby chair and smashed it against the window, shattering the glass.
Ignoring the pain from the cuts on her hand, Sarah climbed out of the window and onto the roof. She didn't know where she was going, but she had to keep moving.
Sarah's heart raced as she crept through the dark corridors of the ship. She had managed to slip out of her cell undetected, but now the real challenge lay ahead - finding a way off the ship.
As she tiptoed down the hallway, she spotted a door slightly ajar up ahead. She moved closer, and peered inside to see a room filled with strange, glowing machinery.
She knew she had to be careful. The last thing she wanted was to accidentally set off an alarm and alert the Tarkans to her presence.
Taking a deep breath, Sarah stepped inside the room and began to examine the machines. She had always been fascinated by technology, and her knowledge of Earth's own machines was surprisingly useful here.
As she worked, she began to hear the sound of footsteps approaching. Her heart skipped a beat - had she been discovered?
She quickly ducked behind one of the machines and held her breath, praying that whoever was coming wouldn't notice her.
The footsteps grew louder, and soon a group of Tarkan soldiers entered the room. Sarah's heart raced as they moved closer and closer to her hiding spot, but miraculously they didn't seem to notice her.
With a sigh of relief, Sarah waited until they had left the room before continuing her work. She was determined to find a way off this ship, no matter what it took.
Sarah continued to run through the dark and unfamiliar corridors, her heart racing with fear and adrenaline. She had no idea where she was going, but she knew that she had to keep moving.
As she turned a corner, she almost ran straight into one of the guards. They both froze for a moment, staring at each other in shock.
Sarah knew she had to act fast. With all her strength, she punched the guard in the face and ran past him. She could hear him shouting behind her as she sprinted down the hallway.
Finally, she saw a faint light up ahead. She ran towards it, and as she got closer, she realized that it was a door. With a surge of hope, she threw herself at the door and was relieved to find that it opened.
Outside, Sarah found herself in a lush garden. The air was fresh and clean, and she could see the stars shining brightly overhead. For a moment, she forgot about the danger she was in and just stood there, taking it all in.
But then she remembered that she had to keep moving. She started to run again, heading towards a distant mountain range that she could see in the distance. She hoped that she might be able to find shelter or help there.
As Sarah ran, she spotted a window in the distance. She sprinted towards it and peered outside. She gasped as she saw the vast expanse of space before her, filled with countless stars and swirling galaxies.
But her awe was short-lived as she heard the sound of approaching footsteps. She quickly turned around and continued running down the corridor, searching for any way out.
Finally, she came across a door with a glowing green panel next to it.
Without hesitation, Sarah placed her hand on the panel, hoping that it would open. To her relief, the door slid open, and she rushed inside. The room was dark, and Sarah fumbled around until she found a control panel. She pressed a few buttons, and the lights flickered on, revealing that she was in some sort of small spacecraft.
Sarah's heart pounded with excitement and fear. She had no idea how to operate the ship, but she knew she had to try
As Sarah was frantically searching for a way out, she suddenly heard a loud noise behind her. She turned around to see Zax standing there, his face contorted with anger.
"What do you think you're doing?" he demanded.
"I just wanted to see outside," Sarah said, trying to keep her voice steady.
"You are not allowed to leave your quarters without my permission," Zax said sternly. "I have been lenient with you so far, but you must understand that you are a prisoner here."
Sarah felt a wave of despair wash over her. She had been foolish to think she could escape so easily. Zax was too powerful, too cunning. She was trapped on this alien planet with no hope of escape.
"I'm sorry," she whispered, her head bowed.
Zax's expression softened slightly. "I know this is difficult for you, Sarah," he said, using her name for the first time. "But you must understand that I am doing what is best for my people. We need females to continue our species. You are the only hope we have."
Sarah didn't know what to say. She felt a strange mix of anger and sympathy towards Zax. On one hand, he had taken her against her will and was keeping her prisoner. On the other hand, she could see that he genuinely believed he was doing the right thing.
"I understand," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Good," Zax said, nodding his head. "Now, I will escort you back to your quarters. You will stay there until I say otherwise."
Sarah followed Zax silently back to her room, feeling more alone than ever before.
