Gillian giggled in amusement at the sight of Augustus 'cleaning meticulously'. She can’t help thinking that she is the only one who has the gut. The gut to allow Augustus to clean cobwebs for her!
Augustus’ brows furrowed, and his eyes instantly fixed on the ceiling, as if he wanted to make sure he did a good job and didn't forget to miss any of the cobwebs.
The sight was so amusing and enchanting at the same time that Gillian's face reddened and her limpid eyes were transfixed on Augustus, lost in Augustus’ charm and the moment.
Augustus suddenly turned back and beamed at Gillian. His eyes squinted, and his lips curved in happiness. "Gillian, did I do well?" Augustus inquired once more, his illusionary tail hanging up on high as if to receive Gillian's praise again.
