ISABEL'S POV
My heart was still beating loudly because of seeing Eric right outside but I had to control myself. He had gestured me to remain quiet and leave the house using the backdoor and that is what I was going to do.
"Who is he?" Maggie asked but I quickly signalled her to shut up and follow me.
We were all quiet as we exited the house using the backdoor. Once we were out, we remained quiet and we followed the Police officer and Eric.
No word was shared between all of us. Maggie was all quiet and I felt bad for her. I know that it hurts her to see Eric because each time she seemed him, she is reminded of what the two of us did.
By the time we got to the main road, I was able to breath triumphantly.
