Travis’ POV After Tiffany had texted me she was leaving the club, I went home. I hoped that the compelling I did at least helped her feel better. I didn’t like compelling someone that way, to mess with their memories, but she was so upset and grieving that I had mercy on her. I thought about the guy she left with and had a weird feeling in my gut. I couldn’t place his scent. It wasn’t vampire, werewolf, or succubus, it was very similar to a human’s. Maybe I’m just overthinking it. He looked like he was probably in college or something.
