Matty never showed back up. I called his office, and they said he left a few hours ago. Maybe he decided to go home for the night. I’ll try his phone again in the morning.
I called Garrett’s nanny and asked her to watch Garrett for the night. I needed to go out to decompress.
I ended up finding myself at the bar where I had met Travis. I don’t know why I wanted to come here but I did. I guess I was hoping to run into him by chance.
