Reject me!

Dracy’s POV. I swallowed hard as he zipped up his trousers, his eyes still locked on me. I squeezed my hands tightly into fists, cursing myself for ending up in this situation. How did I get here? I thought, my mind racing. As he began to move towards me, I took a step back, my heart beating rapidly. His gaze held something I couldn't quite place, but I knew he wasn't angry - that was one thing I was sure of. Before he could reach me, I turned around and ran as fast as I could. I bumped into someone and looked up to see his secretary. "Sorry," I mumbled, handing her the files without waiting for her response. I didn't stop running until I was far away from the scene, my heart still pounding in my chest. What just happened? I thought, trying to process the events that had unfolded. I burst into my room, closing the door behind me and letting out a sigh of relief. I shut my eyes, trying to calm my racing heart. But my peace was short-lived, as I heard a voice that made me flinch. "Is everything alright Dracy?" my roommate asked, concern etched in her tone. I opened my eyes to see her standing before me, and I nodded hastily, rushing to my bed and covering myself with a blanket. I felt too hot, my skin burning with a desire I couldn't understand. I had never felt this way before. I wanted him to touch me the way he had touched himself. I wanted to feel him inside me. Was it normal, or was I officially going crazy? I pressed my eyes shut, trying to shake off the thoughts of Alpha Theon. But I couldn't deny the truth - Alpha Theon was going to be the end of me. "Why did you run away?" Ava growled in my head. I scoffed, "You don't expect me to stay after watching him do...that, do you?" Ava reminded me, "He's our mate, he's not going to hurt us." I rolled my eyes, shoving her aside in my mind. I knew she was right - there was no way he'd hurt me because we're mates. But after seeing what I just saw? Ugh, this was crazy! The funny part was, I couldn't tell anyone what just happened. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't because I wasn't alone in my room. Could my day get any worse? I felt like I was losing my mind, torn between my attraction to Alpha Theon and my revulsion at what I'd just witnessed. And to make matters worse, I had to keep it all bottled up inside. ************ "Dracy, Dracy, Dracy!" someone shook me aggressively, and I groaned, opening my eyes to see Lydia standing over me. I sat up straight, rubbing my eyes. "What happened?" I asked, still trying to shake off the sleep. Lydia stood up, folding her arms. "Can you see what time it is? We're late for class," she said, her voice firm. I let out a sigh of relief, realizing that nothing was wrong. "I'm not going," I said, stretching my body. "Why?" Lydia asked, raising an eyebrow. I yawned and lay back on my bed. "Nothing, I just don't feel like it," I said, unable to tell her the real reason - that I was avoiding Alpha Theon after what happened yesterday. I didn't think I could face him right now. "You're joking, right? You can't miss class for no good reason!" Lydia said, trying to pull me out of bed. She succeeded, and I found myself standing upright, albeit reluctantly. "I'm tired, Lydia. I want to sleep," I protested. "No, you're not missing class," Lydia said firmly, pushing me towards the bathroom. She handed me my towel and brush. "Be fast, we're already late because of you." I let out a weary sigh as I closed the bathroom door and sat down on the edge of the tub, my hands covering my face. How was I going to face Alpha Theon after what happened last night? "Don't make me come in there, “Lydia shouted, breaking my thoughts. I stood up, turning on the water as I began to bathe, scrubbing my body vigorously, trying to shake off the fatigue and anxiety. In no time, I got dressed, and we headed to class. "If the teacher enters before us, I won't forgive you," Lydia said jokingly. "Don't worry, I'm the class president," I replied with a smirk. "No one can touch us." We chuckled and entered the class, and luckily for us, the teacher hadn't arrived yet. "I told you," I whispered to Lydia as I sat down. But as I scanned the room, I felt a strong aura that drew me in. I knew it was Theon. For a moment, I felt like I couldn't breathe. My heart raced, and my palms grew sweaty. I tried to calm myself down, but my eyes seemed to have a mind of their own, searching for him in the crowd. And then, our eyes met. Theon's piercing gaze locked onto mine, and I felt like I was drowning in its intensity. I quickly looked away, trying to compose myself, but I could sense his eyes still on me, burning with an unspoken intensity. I couldn't concentrate in class. All through the lecture, I could feel Theon's gaze on me, making my skin prickle with awareness. I fidgeted with my pen, patiently waiting for the class to end. And after what felt like an eternity, the teacher finally dismissed us. I stood up quickly, packing my bag in haste, eager to escape. But as I tried to step out, I heard my name. "Dracy," Theon called, his deep voice sending shivers down my spine. “f**k!” I cursed under my breath, closing my eyes in frustration. I turned around slowly, my heart racing with anticipation. And all he said was: "Follow me." His command was simple, yet authoritative. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I hesitated for a moment, wondering what he wanted. But my feet seemed to move of their own accord, following him out of the classroom. I followed Theon to his office, my mind racing with uncertainty. What did he want to say to me? Was he going to scold me for running away earlier? And what about the mate bond? He hadn't even acknowledged it yet. I felt like I was going crazy with anticipation. What if he wanted to reject me? The thought sent a chill down my spine. If he rejected me, I would be more than weak - I would be vulnerable. As we entered his office, he closed the door behind me, and I knew I had to act fast. I couldn't let him see my weakness. Without thinking, I blurted out: "Reject me."
