1/ WHO ARE YOU

SIMONE I stalked over to the snacks aisle and grabbed a Snickers bar. I threw it into the shopping cart which I'd filled with some stuff I and my sister needed. I walked over to the check out counter careful to not put weight on my left foot. I'd sprained my ankle in the backyard a couple days ago and it had developed a faint purple colour. I paid for the things and left,my purchases in two plastic bags clutched in both my hands. I walked slowly over to my car and dropped one of the bags onto the concrete so I could open the door. I took the bags and put them in the back seat of my beat up car. I got into the driver's seat and twisted my head almost immediately looking around the parking lot. I could have sworn I heard someone call my name. I shrugged it off and just as I was about turning the key in the ignition I heard it again. Louder this time. I turned the key and revved the car and drove off. Sweat beading on my forehead in the cold night. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a grey car following close behind me. My heart was beating a rapid fire tattoo in my ribcage threatening to burst out of my body. I turned back to my mirror and didn't see the car. I released the breath I didn't know I was holding. I was probably just being paranoid. I felt a little relieved and turned back to the road. I was fine. I just had to get to my driveway and everything would be okay. I breathed a sigh of relief. The street was eerily quiet and I couldn't see too far out in front of me. I didn't hear anyone calling my name anymore. It was good. Right? Wrong. A scream burst out of my throat as I saw the grey car speeding towards my car. I swerved and the car hit the side of my vehicle turning it into a mangled mess. I felt a warm liquid on my face and coppery smell of blood hit me full on. I still couldn't see the driver of the grey car as my vehicle hit a rock. The driver's side window had broken into tiny pieces some of which had embedded themselves into my skin. The pain from the injury on my head still hadn't registered probably from the adrenaline coursing through my veins. I kicked out the remaining pieces of glass and squeezed myself out through the window. A piece of glass pierced my skin on my way out but I squeezed my eyes shut and threw myself onto the grass. The blood was pouring onto my body, staining my white shirt a deep crimson. My legs were cut in a lot of places making it difficult for me to properly stand. My left leg was pretty messed up considering that I'd sprained it a few days ago and it hadn't completely healed. But I had to move. Whoever tried to kill me was probably still in the car and would be angrier than ever now. I looked at my car but I shook my head and turned the other way. I doubted the car would ever be able to drive again or if the passenger door would ever open. I limped away from the c*****e and away from whoever was trying to kill me. I don't know where I was going but I just wanted to get away from this. Tears started pouring involuntarily down my cheeks as I continued away from the cars. “Help” I screamed into the cold night air. “Help me. Please” I yelled. But no one answered. I fell to the ground, too weak to do anything and I cried. I looked back and saw my attacker walking towards me like he'd just gotten off a rollercoaster ride and not a ghastly accident. He looked totally unaffected by the gash on his shoulder dripping blood down his arm. I gagged as he put his fingers on his bleeding shoulder and brought it up to his lips, licking them clean. He wasn't too tall and looked a bit lanky. He looked to normal to be a psycho wanting to kill me. “Hello Simone” He smiled and waved at me. It irked me that he knew my name. “Why are you doing this?” I cried, not really looking for an answer. He wanted to kill me. That's why he was doing this. That was all there was to it. “You'll know soon enough” He replied and pulled a syringe out of his pocket and pierced it into my arm, pushing whatever drug was in there into my blood stream. As I floated in and out of consciousness, thoughts of Kayley,my sweet sister, filled my head. I was going to miss her. She would be so worried about me. I wished I had said goodbye to her. I was being pathetic. I was already loosing my will to live. As I slowly succumbed to the darkness,I felt him sling me onto his good shoulder with surprising strength and with no regard to the wound on his other shoulder. “I hope you dream sweet dreams Simone because when you wake up it'll be a nightmare” was the last thing I heard before the darkness took me. I woke up to a cold room and a big headache pounding in my skull. I tried to move but realized that I was held by chains to the ceiling. My left leg was bent at a weird angle but I couldn't feel much pain. My legs were chained to the floor with some kind of chain that looked like it belonged on some wolf. It was probably dulled by the drug that psycho gave me. I looked around me trying to find a way to escape. And then I saw another girl in the corner of the room. She still hadn't woken up. There were also steel slabs and butcher's knives hung on the wall with dried blood on them. My stomach dropped when I saw skulls on a kind of hanger on the ceiling. “Hey” I called out to her. She didn't move. “Hey” I called out louder. She stirred, making some kind of moaning noises and looked up at me. Her eyes not quite focused. I became quiet when i looked at the girl I was calling to. Her eyes were suddenly wide as saucers and she was staring towards where I'd assumed the door was. I turned towards her new point of interest and I gulped as I saw him.
