I didn't see Eli for the remainder of weekend until I get to work on Monday. I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing him with Celeste again.
They are walking around the compound as the CEO gives a welcome tour. I spot them on my way into work as Eli didn't pick me up this morning. Granted, I could have messaged but since he wanted space, I didn't bother to ask.
I feel their eyes on me as I walk through the gate. The somber atmosphere only succeeded in darkening my mood further. Eli nods and I look away. I know that can be considered childish behaviour but it is too early to see him again with the object of my annoyance.
