"Oh finally, you're up. Lucas said not to disturb you." Ma walked past, hands filled with clothes. "He said you had a fright last night. Feeling okay now?"
I nodded.
Ma was the head of staff at Lucas' mansion. Her name was Marika but she preferred to be called Ma. She was very doting when it came to Lucas but held a slight resentment towards me. I believe she felt that way towards anyone Lucas shows a tiny bit of attention.
