"Not here," I whispered, walking fast into the woods. He followed at a slower pace. His body language screamed confusion.
I continued deeper into the woods, far away from the house. Coming out of Ryder's study, I had sighted Trevor in the foyer, making his way up the stairs.
My eyes widened in fear. Things were about to take a different turn from what I had displayed earlier if Trevor meets Ryder now.
