Chapter Four

I did my usual routine and dressed Mosi up for school as I drove to the school......

I was told the principal is at an early morning meeting so I decided to come back later maybe he will be less busy.

I drove to work ......

I was busy with a few paper works

soon I was almost through,I just had to print...

I turned over to my side

Monelissa : hey Sid, where's the printer???

Sidney: it's in boss's office,we got a new one!!!!!!!

Monelissa: BRB

I WALKED TO BOSS OFFICE

Monelissa pov ;knock knock I was a little shy he has an intimidating look!!!!!!!

Jayce: come in(I entered)oh Ms.Monelissa,what are you doing here???

Monelissa: printing work sir

Jayce: it's over here (at the corner of his table right beside him)

I printed in silence soon I finished

Monelissa:thank you sir (I said and left)

Soon Lunch Break

Cynthia and some others has gone before me .. .I stood up took my jacket and went to the elevator,I pushed the open button and waited for it to open!!!!!

While waiting Jayce arrived,

IN THE ELEVATOR .......

Jayce: where do you go to eat????

Monelissa: from the work café sir

Jayce: ok

Jayce pov:I want to say more and get close to her but I have to be distant too...who am I kidding???

Jayce: do you want to get lunch together??

Monelissa: together????(I tried not to look at his face because I don't want to )

Jaune : wanna grab lunch??

Monelissa : with you?? together??

Jaune: (hold her hands and nodded) yes together!!!!!

Monelissa : actually (her phone rang)(luckily this elevator has signal!!!)excuse me sir!!(picked the call)hello???(paused) what ????????!!!!!!!

the elevator door opened,she came out walking towards the parking lot....

Monelissa: ok calm down,am on my way

Jayce: hmm 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

At her school

Principal:ma'am

Monelissa: where is my daughter??where is she???!!!

Principal: she's in the sickbay!!!she had an asthma attack due to allergies but she's fine now!!!!

IN THE SICK BAY

Mosi: mommy

Monelissa: baby ,are you ok?

Mosi:yes I am mommy,am sorry,I forgot my inhalers!!!!

Monelissa :it's ok honey,you are fine now!!!!

Nurse:she just needs to rest ma'am

Mosi:I feel fine mom

Monelissa: you are as strong as your mother,have you eaten???

I fed her till she finished eating and I went back to work,I was 10 minutes late to work

I was sitting on my desk,when

Sidney: Mr.Jayce was looking for you,he said when you return you should see him

Monelissa: ok thanks

I walked to Mr.Jayce 's office

I was standing at the door being hesitant to knock then I heard "come in" but the voice sounded close to me .. . .he was right behind me

Mr Jayce: you are late

passed me and entered is office I followed suit

Mr Jayce:you have a job to execute!!!!!!and you got recommendation from Cynthia,she told me that you are perfect for the job!!!!

Monelissa : of course I'm sir

Mr.Jayce:coming late doesn't count!!!!

Monelissa:I apologise sir and promise it won't happen again!!!!!!i had a daughter emergency at school!!!!!!

Mr.Jayce: we can't predict the future but you will be given the job,let me brief you on it

Closing hours

In Mr.Jayce's office

Monelissa: and the land is free from landslide calamities and water accidents

Mr.Jayce: nice presentation,keep at it,we'll go there tomorrow,see you tomorrow

I went to Mosi's school

I didn't see her there!!!!!she wasn't at her bench

I went to principal's office

Principal: yes ma'am,your friend or sister??

He told me that Cynthia had picked her up earlier when I was busy at work.

I got home.
