I look between Kai and Conan as I eat my lunch. Anna and Brian are watching something on his phone oblivious to the awkwardness at the table. They have been living under a rock. Especially from the last three days. Conan and Kai haven’t said a word to each other since Tuesday. It physically hurts me to see them like this, just because of a misunderstanding. I know it has affected Kai a lot. He looks tense all the time and often gets lost in his thoughts. It’s Friday and I have decided to make everything right before the week ends.
