Broken friendship

Chapter 5

Malaysia approached Ryder and Lysa, her smile faltering for a moment as she sensed the tension between them. "Hey, guys, what's going on?"

Ryder forced a smile, trying to lighten the mood. "Just studying for exams, Malaysia."

Lysa, however, couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. She excused herself, citing a need to work on a project.

As Lysa walked away, Malaysia turned to Ryder, concern etched on her face. "Is everything okay between you and Lysa?"

Ryder hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. "We just had a heart-to-heart, Malaysia. Nothing to worry about."

But Malaysia's intuition told her otherwise. She couldn't help but notice the growing distance between Lysa and the rest of the group...

Meanwhile, Bysha observed the dynamics from afar, her artistic mind whirling with thoughts of friendship, love, and heartache...

Malaysia's smile faltered for a moment as she approached Ryder and Lysa. "Hey, guys! What's going on?"

Ryder forced a smile, trying to lighten the mood. "Just studying for exams. You know how it is."

Lysa, however, remained quiet, her eyes cast downward. Malaysia noticed the tension and sensed that something was amiss.

As they packed up to leave, Malaysia fell back to walk beside Lysa. "Hey, is everything okay? You seem a bit off."

Lysa hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. "I'm just stressed about exams, that's all."

Malaysia's eyes narrowed slightly, sensing that Lysa was hiding something. But she didn't push the issue, instead changing the subject to their plans for the weekend.

As they parted ways, Malaysia couldn't shake off the feeling that something was brewing beneath the surface of their friendship...
