It was noon already. The lecturer enter the hall trying to give a sample of the experiment to be carried out. The lecturer then takes the students into the laboratory to elaborate more on the experiment. As he began missing chemicals to carry out the experiments, he was able to get to the end point and lay off his inference. So he instructed each student to carry the experiment firstly to see there ability then he departs to and announces that he will be back. Emilia approached Jacob asking him for information to garner up in order to carry out her experiment. Jane seeing this got annoyed and began to thing of what to do. As she went there to see what they were doing. She purposely tried spilling a hot concentrated acid on Emilia face but it ended up splashing a guy closer to Emilia and Jacob on the hand as the guy screams bitterly in pain. He kept on screaming loudly as the hall became scattered with people running around then they called the lecturer to seek help. He quickly rushed in as he poured cold water on the guys hand to dilute the pain. Questions turning around, who did this? Responses echoing it wasn't me here and there as Jane keeps mute amongst all. The project sample has to be suspended till further notice. As every student was dismissed.

Few days later, Jane approached the guy, Steven whose hands started leaving a scar. Hey Steven! I'm sorry for what happened to you though, but I know who did this to you exactly and once I tell you, you have to keep it a secret within you and me, alright? I'm all ears Jane, tell me who is responsible for this. It was Emilia and she pleaded with me not to tell anyone. But I don't think she is sorry about this cause I know her better. If she was feeling guilty, she would have apologized to you. Are you being serious Jane? Steven confronted her as he argues in disbelieve on going to question Emilia but Jane declines. It's fine though, I know Emilia is a nice person, I'd let it go. Jane on the other hand was astonished with his response as she nodded in agreement and wove as him as she departed. As they both left, it was a huge surprise to see Emilia approaching her just a while that Steven had just turned around. Immediately, she held Emilia in shock turning her face backwards. “What's the meaning of this, Jane?”, Emilia asked. It is nothing Emilia, just wanted you not to see my face. 'But, what's on your face? 'replied Emilia. Uhm... Nevermind Emilia. By the way, where are you heading to? Oh yeah! That's true. Sorry for not letting you know on time. I'm heading to Jacob's house to tell him of how I feel about him. Seriously? Like seri... So, it has gone to this extent that you have to walk up to his house? Remember I advised you to give this a deeper thought. Anyway, you hold your mindset not me! You are to go wherever you like. She said angrily and left. Emilia on noticing her anger chased after her seeking for more explanation as she ended up chasing after Jane till she arrives at Jane's house knocking so hardly as Jane opened up and questioned her strangely “how can I help you? " Oh no Jane, you don't have to be upset... Fine! I won't go again maybe, I have to give this some thoughts. You have been a good and nice friend to me and I won't want to be the one to shatter up our relationship on behalf of a guy that just appeared into my life few years ago. I'm so sorry for not listening to you anyway, please lighten up and give that cute smile of yours, she teased Jane. Jane began to chuckles and blush simultaneously as she held Emilia by the hand. You know I do not want you to be a victim any more neither do I want to you sober nor cry. That's why I try my best to look for the best for you, what will be perfect for you. She embraced Emilia and said along with an evil smile,I want you to leave under a shade of perfect light that won't harm you secretly. She pecks Emilia and left to get Emilia a chilled juice. Emilia started drinking it and kept thinking of what to do next as Jane interrupts her thoughts as they both tossed their cups jinxing cheers! Jane stares at her sarcastically and smiles. I will never let you get to Jacob, he is for me and me alone!
