'He is not my Lord'

"Who are you? How did you come to the mansion?” The woman spoke more sternly, suspicious of her constant silence and repeated glances at the apples on the tree.

"I'm a guest. I was brought here by the Shadow Man." Mia explained nervously. She knew that there was no human being here, so that woman would tear her apart. She looked surprised at Mia's answer.

"Shadow Man?" who is this? Who did you come with?" That woman reached for her head in one go and screamed. Is she an enemy? Or is there a trick? Who was the Shadow Man?

"Shadow Man. Lord Reesan. He has brought me here." Mia said in fear after shaking her arms.

The woman remained silent for a moment and took a step back.

"Listen madam, can you break this apple for me? My hand is not reaching." Mia pleaded at her relaxed expression and stretched out her arms to show her helplessness that she was telling the truth.

"What power do you have that you are present in Reesani and came to this mansion?" The woman was surprised to see the delicate little being that was not able to break even an apple.

"I...? My power...” Mia now understood that Reesan possessed great powers and that if she found out that she was weak, she would be taken away as a Reesani servant. She was worried.

"Teresa..." At the heavy voice, Mia was shocked and looked at Reesan standing behind Teresa, then at the woman who was kneeling on the ground in shock.

"My Lord," Teresa said politely.

"She's new here. I give you the responsibility. Give her good clothes and food too. And teach her how to live here.” Reesan's eyes fell on the black cloak wrapped around Mia's body and she spoke seriously and saw Mia's face, which was red.

"My Lord." The woman named Teresa bowed her head further and turned to Mia.

"I am the caretaker of the maids of the mansion Reesani. I hope you will not be disappointed." Her harsh tone from some time ago had softened slightly in front of Reesan.

"But this apple," Mia said helplessly, and looked at the apple. Teresa was shocked when she saw her. She was looking at the apples standing in front of Lord Reesan with tempting eyes.

Reesan's eyes were on her every move.

In the same way, Teresa, with her head bowed down, grabbed her hand and pulled her down, and then a slight scream came out of Mia's mouth.

"Bow your head to the Lord, girl," Teresa taught her in a low voice.

"He's not my Lord." Mia said, lifting her hand and raising her nose. A smile crept on Reesan's lips.

Teresa felt that both of them would be beheaded for this insolence.

"You take her Teresa and teach her ‘well’." Reesan said seriously with a smile and looked at Mia; he knew how Teresa would straighten Mia's stubborn nature while deliberately emphasizing "well’.

"My Lord." Teresa bowed her head and accepted the order and dragged her away.

Reesan stared at the fresh apple that Mia was repeatedly pointing at.

"Human being... They don't even know how to get what they want?” Shaking his head sadly, he saw the apple in his hand, which was separated from the branch when he turned it a little and it came into his hand.

"I am Lord Reesan's special servant; I handle all the management of the mansion here. And now it is your duty to obey me. I am not gentle at all. You will benefit from doing as I say.” She was talking while taking Mia to the inner part of the mansion. Mia was shaking her head rudely.

Her eyes opened as she passed through the corridor and entered the interior.

There was a huge round hall which was probably as big as a whole neighborhood of the human world. There were huge round pillars around it. And came out of the upper round where there were innumerable rooms.

Innumerable maidservants were working in sky-blue floor-length frocks and a special white apron-like cloth tied to them.

Just one Teresa's dress was a slightly darker blue.

"Follow me." Ignoring Mia's open mouth and surprised eyes, she turned aside.

Mia was running behind her, looking at the glassy mansion with sparkling eyes.

Teresa opened a side door at the far end of the room and entered, followed by Mia.

She thought it would be a room, but when the lights were turned on, she saw a large open hall in front.

"This is the maid’s quarters," Teresa pointed out.

There were innumerable rooms with doors in the front line.

And after opening a big door on one side and entering, there were bathrooms in a line. Mia was surprised to see more and more parts inside.

Teresa opened a door and went inside, filled a bathtub with hot water and mixed fragrant soap in it. Mia was watching silently.

"Come on, I will bring the clothes to the bathroom here.” Teresa called to her with a gesture and went out by herself. After a long time, after getting in to the hot water up to her neck, Mia started to feel the freshness with her eyes closed.
