Cruel Decision

Mia kept looking at him with blank eyes and was engrossed, as if he was alone there.

"Shadow Man, you're afraid of me that I'll kill you?" Mia drew him to her.

"If you want, I will show you now. You can't kill me, weak human.” He turned around and went to her and leaned towards her neck while smiling. Mia felt a jolt, and she jerked back.

"Can I take your blood?" he was asking for permission to be behind her.

"You…. You said it. You don't drink human blood." Mia stuttered and reminded him and placed her hands around her neck in an imperceptible manner. Reesan smiled at her movement and held her close to him; Mia looked at him with wide eyes.

"Yes, human blood reduces my powers. But what does it matter? Even then, I will be able to beat everyone", he bowed after removing her hands from her neck.

"You can't do this to me Reesan." Mia cried as she felt his hot breath on her neck, she thought he was going to kill her today. Is he really so fed up with her that he wants to kill her?

Reesan touched her lightly and backed away.

"Yeah, I can't do that, little thing. So don't ask me this question. I am not afraid of you or anyone. I have lived thousands of years openly, I am immortal. Means can't die; I have lived my whole life without fear of death, so even if I am killed now, it will not matter to me. But I will say this for the last time today. You desire my life and not yours, because if I die, you will die. And I won't let you die as long as I'm alive.” Reesan was leaning close to her face and speaking in a heavy tone. Reesan turned towards the wall, Mia's eyes started to water, as if he had forgotten her and got engrossed in his work. Mia turned away from him and angrily turned away from the room.

Reesan drew the curtain from the hidden part of the wall as she left, and there was the scene in front of him.

On the ground of black roses, that white doll in a black dress lay cold and lonely.

Reesan's eyes started to turn completely black, he drew the curtains and pursed his lips and walked away.

This was the vision Reena had shown him years before Precious Blood even came here.

He was suffering from a strange pain at that scene.

The cold white little girl's blue lips and her lifeless existence among the black roses was so offensive to Reesan that he cursed the blue lake the very next day that whoever crossed it would lose his sight. People had stopped visiting the lake as soon as the curse had done, and Reesan felt he had saved the strange little girl by forbidding her to enter the land.

But for Reesan, Mia crossing the lake to the land of black roses reminded Reesan of all that. He could not imagine having seen a vision of a human girl who was free from every limit and every curse that this world had placed on her, but when Mia crossed the lake to Reesan, her dress was not black, but white.

That is, the scene of the vision was still there and seeing the full moon shining in the scene, Reesan took a deep breath. The night of the full moon was near, but he had made a small attempt to save Mia from this scene by sending her away from the Reesani forest.

She won't be able to come from the T-Gon’s region soon and she will be far away from the lake on a full moon night.

He knew what he had thought and what he was going to do.

It was a cruel decision to send Percy to the T-Goons and send Mia too.

As instructed by Reesan, Teresa had prepared food and some clothes for Mia outside, none of which were black.

"I hope you come back soon." Teresa smiled and turned away.

With a worried look, Mia held the big black bag like a small travel bag with two belts on her shoulder and she left the mansion and reached the streets of the Reesani area.

She was wearing a skin-colored cloak that hid her face and head.

As she stepped towards the Reesan Forest, she glanced back at the tall castle-like building of the Reesan Mansion.

"Now, even if I find and save Percy, I will not return to you, Shadow man," she muttered in frustration, and headed towards the forest.

Looking at the forest from the terrace of his residence, Reesan smiled regretfully at Mia's words and turned back, shaking his head.
