CHAPTER TWELVE It was a place of almost endless grassland where no structure stood. A great tempest blew against the grass causing it to bend over. Ebube was once again in the savannah. The gale was so strong that it swept him off the ground like a leaf. Suddenly a woman in a white robe caught him by the hand and kept him from being blown away. The woman was firmly fixed to the ground and wasn’t affected by the tempest. Though her face was hidden, he knew her connection to him; he knew she was his mother.
