ANGEL’S POV From the corner of my eye I could see a light. My mind was numb. Too many thoughts to process and they I felt something hard knocking into me. I thought being hit by a car would have hurt more but when I opened my eyes I realised that it wasn’t a car that had shoved me to the ground. It was Curtis. He lay limp and covered in blood. Ben ran over to him from the other side of the streets and I crawled over to them. “Curtis,” I cried. “Open you eyes. Open your eyes Curtis.” He didn’t. He didn’t move.
