The Legend of Hercules.
Many, Many millenniums ago there was a mighty God by the name of Zeus, the supreme god of the Greeks. Hailed as the father of both mortals and immortals, Zeus was the god of the sky and weather, but was also connected with law and order, the city, and the household. A mighty deity who meted out justice from atop Mount Olympus. The youngest of his siblings to be born from by Titans Cronus and Rhea, who ruled over the cosmos before the Olympians. His siblings were the gods Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Poseidon, and Hades.
Legends have it the relationship between Hades and Zeus were more of a rivalry than anything, a curse that hades has felt he was wrongfully bestowed upon with no control over his own will and the help of neither of his mother and father. Hades was banished to the underworld with never ending fire where he monitored over the dead and zombies for the rest of eternity while he watched his brother Zeus rule over mount Olympia along side the most powerful Gods Aphrodite, Ares • Artemis • Athena and Demeter. Zeus later on married on to a woman named Hera who was the Goddess of Women and marriage. Birthing to life many children with a special purpose. IE Hercules.
Many many millenniums have passed and hades thought an overturn would bring him Justice but soon tasted defeat by his own Nephew. Though fate did not let him down for he soon met his wife Persephone, Persephone's love affair with his brother Zeus brought forth a son Zagreus.
Zagreus was - "shh, your reading way too loudly please lower your voice or leave my library." The library lady with two corn rolls decorating her red hair hisses, Greek accent coated tongue. Porcelain complexion red from the anger she's holding back.
Peering around to the eyes of everyone that casted me dirty looks, I sink in my chair in shame "I- I'm sorry I -" her heels click away before letting me finish my sentence.
A silent sigh on my left makes me cringe "you know she already does not want you in here why do you keep making her come over for your reading?" Phoebe whispers.
Glancing back at the woman that had her attention solely on me waiting for me to screw up again, "I d-don't even know when I speak, I just get lost into these stories," pushing the book to her, "look Persephone had a son with -"
"Please leave my library, and you are no longer welcomed back."
In her native tongue Phoebe mutters something loud enough "leave her alone your always a bully."
"She is not welcomed in my library and I want her no wear near my books, touching and laughing. She can either keep it or I'll burn it" her eyes locked on mine, daggers impaling my orbs. Ducking my head away I reach over to Phoebe.
"It's ok, I'll leave."
"No what the heck you need to stop putting up with this nonsense, pretty soon you won't be welcomed anywhere here."
Looking around to everyone that seized me up like some foreign creature, "it's not like anyone would back me up if I did throw hands at her" I laughed.
Reluctantly Phoebe looks around, before sending a death glare to the librarian, "Alright than, let's go" she turns to collecting her things, mocha hair unknotting from her bun.
"Phoebe no I -"
"I'm going." We're here last words before I swallowed thickly.
"Good riddance."
"Be gone you witch."
"Burn that chair and everything she touched."
Roars of applause were going off loudly while I walked away, so much for the quiet that she wanted. Though I can't understand them, I can feel the hate in their tone. This is something I should be used to, but it hurts every time.
Like the plague every one has avoided me, not wanting to serve me, or have literally called authorities on me just to have me escorted from their property. It has gotten so bad, not even the airlines allow me on their planes, I'm stuck. All of this because I reside in the forest near the Davelis Cave, a cave that is said to be cursed; plagued with black magic and the angry aura of all the fallen God's. I was given a decent amount for a small thousand feet cottage near the temple of the cave, Perfectly furnished and cozy against the scorching sun and plenty of wood for the cold.
Like an aesthetic I have always wanted to have in my life of being in a small cottage with nothing surrounded by nature and an escape of the dangerously high inflation of my old world in America. However I never expected it to have caused an angry uproar among the people, countless of times I have done my best yet I seem to have made a small name for my self.
'η μαύρη μάγισσα'
'The Black Witch'
Because of my Afro features I stood out like a sore thumb, a distinct pear shaped figure; having a larger bum and perky large breasts than almost all the women here in the country and my tight 4c afro with high density, thick lips and almond eyes, it wasn't hard to locate me, and plus I kind stand out from everyone with super creamy white skin while my complexion is a dark brown Hershey and caramel glow. Oh, the time I wished to go back where everyone was so warm and welcoming to me, but now I'm like the biggest plague to them and everywhere I go.
A soft hand wrapped around my bicep; the wind nearly knocked me back while my whole body was firmly jerked, flashing lights speed by while an angry bicyclist pedals with great speed in front of me, spewing cuss words.
"Pay attention girl, it isn't the end of the world." Phoebe sighs "We can make this work,"
"It's ok Pheobe, I'm ok ... really." Mentally I winced, I took too long with the last word. Pheobe halts her steps, Crap. Under the starry darkness I can feel her dough eyes staring right at me, last thing I want is to argue with her, I learned my lesson the first six hundred times of losing. Pheobe will always win.
"You're moving in with me, let's go." her hand still latched around my bicep, not even the heels of my shoe were strong enough against her strength.
Moving in with my best friend and protector really would solve all my problems considering neither her nor her mom care about the rumors, they have lived through the worst of the worst, yet even though they saw no wrong I still couldn't stomach bringing them down with me, they would be outcasts just like me. I'm fine as long as I still had them to turn to, that was enough to be my fighting force.
"You know I'm fine, Pheobe I promise, I have lived here for almost two years now and attend bible lessons with you every day, if I was a witch wouldn't I disintegrate from even touching the bible? or even burn in general from stepping inside?" I tried to be funny, but she wasn't laughing. In fact, it didn't help my case at all, her glare only deepens, and I swore her eyes started glowing.
"Pheobe, I am perfectly ok, in fact living there has helped me better my photography Skills, I want you to see them."
Raising a clean brow "Unless it's a picture of that sexy naked body of yours, I need less talking and more packing." she doesn't blink while seductively trailing over my body.
feeling her grip loosening, "What would Penelope say?" I laughed hiding the sole intention of trying to pull out of her grip.
"Hmm, she likes what she sees too, so I think I'm in the clear." she shrugs smugly. "Our offer still stands you know, it's not like any of these guys know the real pleasures and sweets spots of a woman." my goodness she has a way of lowering her tone to a seductive whisper. She just doesn't give up, As tempting as that offer is, I'll still save it for another time. I still had some toys back in the cottage. Maybe she doesn't look for the men, but she's actually surrounded by a flavorful variety, feeling her hand tighten around my bicep when she noticed I am slipping away.
"Mmm, If I say yes, will I be free to go home?"
Stoically she looks at me, under the streetlight we remain, a part of her wanted to argue while the rest of her decided to let me go, "I promise I will be ok, and besides I'm not too far from society despite having all this junk in my trunk I'm a quick runner." Meg ... shut up girl.
"Fine, but I'm walking you." dare I not say anything, when Pheobe says something, it's a period at the end. The sass I love about her, I try my hardest to ignore the daggers and glares that I'm feeling all around me, discreetly I try to slower my pace so they wouldn't see me walking side by side next to Pheobe.
"I will make a scene if you don't quit it, I get it I'm not in your shoes, but please don't push me away." she doesn't even glance towards me, I smile inwardly to keep up or else she will make a scene. Although I have lived in Greece for a while the Decore still fascinates me, my favorite place to be surrounded by, history. To the corner of a stoned house, we rounded, from afar I spot the bush trail that leads to my cottage. I can just the feel the comfy bed, the full moon light fell glistened the trees lighting up even the darkest of corners. With my eyes on the trail to my cottage I caught sight of a dark shadowy figure that sprints across the pave way ducking into the bushes.
"What the - " I stumbled back pulling phoebe in the process. Her head whips up from her phone. "What? what's wrong?" neck nearly breaking from glancing at me to the bushes.
sounds blur out while I wait for any other movement, a dear? a person? or maybe just my imagination, yes that's it. No one can sprint that fast any. I feel my breast wiggling from the tugs, furiously I blink out, noise and light come back to me. "Meg!"
"Huh, ye yes ... sorry I uh I thought I saw uh " the look she casts me said it all, pick wisely or she will demolish that house on her own. "Uh The Red Deer" voice still shaking from my rattled heart.
"The Red Deer? at this time of night?" She paused looking into the dark forest. A silence fell between us. Anticipation building while I watch her eye the forest ahead. "Hmm it must be the year."
"Yea" I breathed laughing off the shock."
"You know your actually tougher than I give you credit for."
"Hmm?"
"You love reading on the Olympian God's and the underworld despite the fact you live in this creepy forest, your tougher than you put out."
"I mean, you know reading them are my favorite, must have been so cool being one of those mighty God's."
"How are you Christian and believe there were more than one God?"
"I'm not worshipping them, am I? I'm just in love with the physique. and the idea that eons ago Greek was home to them." I can feel my heart racing with excitement.
"Please don't tell me you traveled to Greece thinking you're going to find your Greek God or however American women call it your 'Adonis.'" She quotes the name with her fingers. "Cause, that is just a myth girl, look around you. No one looks like that."
"Is that why you chose the other side?"
"The other side chose me" my goodness she is so smug.
"Welp, I mean, the eye candy hasn't been disappointing". I laugh.
Rolling her eyes, "Oh please just nothing but old guys and minors, nothing stands, but the women ... the women mmm, those are the real snacks." I watch her eyes roll to the back of her head, orgasming.
"I mean I won't lie, if I was alive back than I think I'd be a w***e, those yummy Greek bodies and those - "
"Small wieners?" she interrupts "let's be honest, for the guys our age how many prints do you see when they have grey sweatpants on? Hell, how many guys have you slept with since being here?"
Sex has not exactly been on my radar, though I have slept with a few men, none of them really made c*m, the size was well proportioned, yet they had no idea what to do with it, However, Achillies. Trailing my eyes to the right "Achi-"
"If you say Achillies, I will shoot myself."
"I mean you asked, and he was the best s*x I've had since coming to Greece; tall, handsome, great s*x and -"
"Married, he strung you around while his wife was away on business in the states, then tossed you aside while he humiliated you, please don't tell me you still get wet thinking about him."
As sick as it is, I do, minus the humiliation, this man twisted my body in ways I couldn't describe, made feel butterflies when I was with him, the special words and those brown eyes that looked deep into my ass when my legs are spread wide open for hi-
"Okay cut it out, Oh God, how sick"
"Wait, I was speaking out loud?"
"When do you not babe?" she laughs, her phone suddenly pinged. Mocha hair falling in large stands on top of her forehead when she peers down. Glancing around to give her privacy I heard a light rustle in the bushes suddenly, it seems the sound was loud enough for me to hear but went deaf to Phoebe. But then again when she is on that phone, the whole world could blow apart and she wouldn't notice. A void darkness in the between a few branches, a silhouette like figure. Odd, the moon shines so bright. Non-moving, alluring, as if it's staring right back at me. Soft whisper like voices begin to play in my ear, vaguely familiar words, was that my name?
Transfixed and delirious, the darkness seems to expand into clouds pulling my body closer into the darkness, suddenly I was met with two glowing dots, unblinking and wide.
What The?
"Welp, I'm not getting p***y tonight." Pheobe's sudden voice shook me out of the trans, a face of disappointment, plump red lips pouting. I feel my heart pounding and I exhaled a cool breath, looking over to the bushes, moonlight, the figure gone. I'm probably just losing it.
clearing my throat "Wh-what happened" voice shudders uncontrollably. I watch her stuff her phone into her pocket before she whips her hair back.
"She found out about the girl from Sweden." she sighs stoically.
My eyes widened in realization, watching her slip into her sweatshirt "Oh, you don't mean?"
"Yep, can't help it, busty brunettes are my thing when I get the pass."
"But if you had a pass, why are you in trouble?"
"I'm not supposed to use it for her." she winked coming in for a hug. "Oof" she says when I came in contact, pineapple shampoo flows through my nasal stream.
"What? what is it?" I try to pull back, but her arms lock me in place.
"They are soft and massive" I heard her sigh. Inwardly I laugh blowing out a breath.
"Goodnight Pheobe."
"Goodnight my African Goddess, I'll see you tomorrow for brunch." A command more than a question.
"Yes"
Pulling away from each other, her palms softly brush my cheeks, thumb tracing my face, "You're a miracle you know that?" glancing back between me and the woods, "Text me as soon as you reach your front door, I know your service comes back when you're near your satellite," raising her arm to look at her watch, "I'm giving you exactly 45 minutes, if nothing by than ill come look for your myself and know that I will make a scene."
"How do you know I won't be getting my p***y demolished by a sexy Greek man?"
"They can't do damage to a woman the way I can, and you'd know if you - "
"Goodnight Pheobe, I'll see you tomorrow." Already three steps into the trail.
Not looking back at her, I heard her laugh "Goodnight beautiful."
"We'll have a formal greeting later on tonight." I paused, lowly chuckling. How did she do that? The voice raspy and slithery.
"How did you do th -" I'm stilled watching Phoebe angrily yelling with someone on the phone, in her native tongue she spews, while she is half way out of site. Wasn't she?
I'm shook from another rustle in the bushes, my gut turns painfully but I'm already half way to my house. A Dreadful feeling has my mind at an alerting rate.
Something or someone is out there, and it is watching my every move.
