27 Family Values Nathan Trower’s house looked as unlived in as it had before, the only difference now being that the driveway was ankle-deep with snow. Emily paused at the end of the driveway, observing a line of boot prints that led up to the front door. Alan hadn’t plowed this section of road, and a line of tyre tracks were clearly visible coming up from the valley and stopping outside Nathan’s house, where they reversed and then headed back the way they had come. A home delivery. From the way the tracks had begun to fill up again, Emily guessed it had been a couple of hours ago. So, Nathan hadn’t been out yet today.
