“AT OCEANA”

Caramel: so Mum, he will get his House and everything he needs from that Water demon wealth giver? Does it mean that lady is his Human mate? When will he discover it? Norah: (smiled) don’t worry Princess; mummy will satisfy your curiosity during your Bedtime stories okay? It’s getting late and we should head back home right? Caramel: right Mum, I’ll be patient but I have a request please? Norah: you know I’ll do anything for you, tell me Baby what’s the problem? Caramel: okay, can we quickly go to a Mall so I can get something for Grandpa and Grandma, pretty please? Norah: is that it? That’s fine my love but you will have to pick what you want quickly because Mom and Dad will be worried by now. So we have a Deal right? Caramel: Yes Mum, it’s a Deal

Norah carried her daughter and they left for the Garage, they entered the Convertible and Norah headed straight to a nearby Shopping mall, they got to Delight mall and went in. All the while, Caramel had been troubling her mind, she wanted to buy a Gift for her Mum as that day was Norah’s birthday but at the same time she didn’t want her mum to see it so she brought out her Tablet from her School bag and chatted her Grandma up explaining everything to her, luckily Grandma came up with a Plan. They got inside the Mall and Norah led Cara to the gift section so she could pick something and suddenly, her Phone started ringing, she picked the call when she saw it was her Mum calling.

Norah: Hi Mum, what’s the problem? Beatrice: where are you two Norah? Your Dad and I are very worried, it’s late already or didn’t you bother to check what says the time huh? Norah: I’m sorry for keeping you Guys worried Mum. Cara wanted that Steak for dinner so we went to Oceana but we will soon be back before you know it, please calm down Beatrice: huh? I didn’t grab a single word from what you just said, where did you say you took my Baby? Can you move out from there a little bit so I can get what you are saying? Norah: but Mom, I can’t leave Cara alone here, it’s risky you know Caramel: just step out a little Mum so Grandma can hear you, I’ll be fine picking the Gifts myself I promise Norah: (smiled at her) are you sure about that Sweetheart? I could cut the call and talk to Mum at home you know, will you be fine if I leave you all alone? Caramel: No don’t do that, that’s you being rude to my Grandma because of me, you worry too much, what could possibly happen to me at a Mall? I’ve told you to go, I’ll be fine trust me Norah: (sighed) okay Princess, but what’s the number you should call if anything goes wrong? Caramel: 911 and I’ll shout “MUMMY” and my Wonder woman Mum will come to my rescue (laughed) I remember okay? Now go and talk to your Mum Norah: I’ll be back before you know it, take care Sweetie. (Talks to her Mom) umm Mom? I’ll just go to the entrance so you can hear me okay?

Norah left the Mall to talk to her Mum, and immediately, Caramel picked everything she wanted and handed it over to the Attendant nearby who wrapped it up quickly and packed it into a Shopping bag. Norah came back inside hoping to help her Daughter but was shocked by what she met Norah: Sweetheart? How could you be done so fast? I only left for some minutes Caramel: well I’m becoming as fast as Flash I guess(smiled) Norah: but you are so dependent on me while choosing stuff, you can’t get it all done without Momma’s help Caramel: well Mom, let’s say I’ve become matured (smiled) Norah:(paid the Cashier and was about to collect the Shopping bag from her daughter) Caramel: No Mum, don’t stress yourself, I’ll carry it okay? Norah: huh? Let me help you with it dear that bag is too heavy for my Baby girl Caramel: No Mum, please I insist okay? (Gave her a reassuring smile) Norah: (sighed) okay then, let’s go home

Caramel carried the Bag to the car. They entered the Convertible and Norah sped off heading towards their House. They got home a few minutes later, Cara’s Nanny who was waiting by the Mansion’s entrance welcomed them and collected Cara’s bags, then Norah and Cara headed for their respective rooms to freshen up.

“AT THE DINING HALL” Beatrice: Honey, where do you think Norah took our princess to? Christian: maybe a Restaurant or a Mall. Are you worried? I’m sure they will be back soon. Norah is no longer our little girl you know, she’s now a Mother. Beatrice: uh-huh, that’s for you because she’s still my little daughter that I carried in my Womb Caramel: Grandpa, Grandma, Mummy and I are back (she hugged both of them and sat on her Grandpa’s legs while he cuddled her)

Beatrice: my darling, what about the Surprise package, was she able to figure it out? Caramel: it was a win Grandma, you’re a Genius (chuckled) have you told Grandpa already? Christian: I know it’s your Mom’s birthday today Sweetheart and see (he pointed towards the Lounge) I already bought a cake and a lot of drinks for the party sweetie Caramel: thanks Dada, Yay I’m so excited but wait what about the Food menu? Beatrice: It is Montego’s White Spaghetti and Ketchup, her favorite Caramel: Everything is ready. Yikes, I haven’t told my Nanny to take the Gift bag to the Lounge

Christian: I told her already when she was going to your Room with bags, don’t worry about that

Norah: and what are you Three Musketeers plotting without me huh? Spill the beans right now

Christian: nothing much Sweetheart, how was your Day at the Office? Norah: very hectic Dad, till my Baby girl came around and ended my day pleasantly (smiled)

Caramel: Mom? Can you bend down a little? I want to show you something

Norah: uh okay, (she crouched to her knees and Caramel blindfolded her immediately)

Norah: why did you tie that sweetie? How will I see what you were about to show me? Caramel: don’t worry Mum, (she held her hand and led her to the Lounge) I can handle it

Caramel led her Mum to the Lounge then her Grandparents, the chef and the Nanny followed suit. Grandpa Christian switched on the florescent bulb and Cara removed Norah’s blindfold. Norah was flabbergasted with what she saw; the Lounge was decorated with beautiful Balloons and lights. There was a big red Velvet Cake, Drinks most especially expensive Wines and assorted Dish bowls filled the Escritoire. Everyone chanted the Birthday song for Norah then she blew the candles and cut the cake after making her wish. She fed Cara while others helped themselves, the Gatekeeper was also invited. Beatrice dished the food on the Davenport and everyone relaxed to enjoy their meal of White Spaghetti and sauce, ketchup for Norah, together with the Chicken Pepperoni the Chef made. After Dinner, the family watched their Night program at the Living room while the housekeepers cleaned up. Then about few minutes later, Cara’s Bedtime crept in. Norah carried her daughter to her room and tucked her in, and then she sat down next to her on the Rocking Chaise to commence with her Bedtime stories.

“BACK TO THE STORY”

Jamal succeeded in getting close to the Lady for the period of time he stayed with her. One month had elapsed already but the Lady wasn’t ready to let Jamal leave and he also didn’t want to go though he had already located his Wealth Demon. They had grown so fond of each other and enjoyed each other’s company. The day for Jamal’s departure finally arrived, Jamal had already packed his things together but the Lady insisted that she must drop him off at the Train station. She woke up on time that day and had already prepared Breakfast, Jamal quickly showered; he put on Black trouser and a white vest and went to meet the Lady at the Dining Room. She was dishing out the food when he arrived; they sat down to enjoy their Breakfast of Noodles, Scrambled eggs and Fruit wine. After eating, Jamal carried his things to the Car while the Lady went to get dressed in her room. She did that quickly, picked a Hand bag and left to meet Jamal at the Garage after giving the food menu she prepared for her Grandfather to the Chef. When they got to the Station, the Lady descended her Pink Lamborghini and went to get Tickets for Jamal, she also got some Provisions for him and she gave him some money too. Jamal: Thanks for everything you’ve done for me, I owe you more than my Life (smirked) Lady: (chuckled) I’ll hunt you for that. I already bought you tickets for New Orleans and some Provisions too, I’m sure you don’t have cash on you so I put some in your wallet, take good care of yourself okay? Jamal: yeah, sure I will. But how will I contact you when I get home? Lady: I wrote my Landline and Phone number inside your Journal and I put it in your Luggage Jamal: I’m coming. (He checked in his Luggage and came back to meet her) My train will leave soon, I’ll call you when I get Home and things are settled okay? I still have to get a phone you know(smirked) don’t miss me too much(He hugged her and turned to leave) Lady: (sighed and turned to head for the Exit when Someone dragged her back and she fell on the Person’s chest) Jamal: I’ll miss you so much Princess, you are so mean that you don’t even want me to know your Name huh? Lady: (smiled sheepishly at him) Pardon my manners, my name is Melly Jae Johnson Jamal: okay, I’ll just stick with Jae, I’ll be on my way now but have it in mind always that this is not the end of the road for us

Jae: and what do you mean by that? Jamal: (he kissed Jae passionately and disappeared into the Train) Jae: (shocked) he was the one who went on and on about me wanting to take Advantage of Him, what did he just do? (Sighed) well I’ll make sure he pays for this when next we meet.

Melly Jae entered her Pink Lamborghini and drove to the Company where she was managing. Her Mother gave up the ghost a week before and was buried, her Grand Mom had been in Coma ever since, her Grand Dad stayed home at their White Mansion while her Baby brother went for Holiday at their Uncle’s place. She lived at the White Duplex her Mom built at Florida that was willed to her; she visited her Grandparents every day to tend to their needs. Grandpa didn’t want to live with her; he decided to stay back in his house because he didn’t want to be a burden to his Grandchildren at Old age. Meanwhile, Jamal found out that his Wealth Demon was waiting for him at New Orleans, he got to his destination at the Ninth hour, and he carried his Luggage and checked out from the Station. A Limousine was waiting for him at the Gate, he entered and the Chauffer sped off immediately. The Limousine drove into a white Castle and halted in front of the Waterfall; Jamal came down and headed for the entrance as Maids rushed to get his things avoiding him. The Butler gave him a grand welcome as the Young Master, and then he led him into the Castle and showed him around. Jamal was satisfied with the Interior and Exterior decorations and structure of the Castle. Then, the Butler assembled the Chefs, Castle maids, Gardeners, Chauffeurs, Gate keepers and every other Employee and Jamal gave them a Formal Address as their Boss and the owner of the Castle, he listed out the Rules and regulations for them and made sure it was pasted at the lounge and at the Employee Quarters. They gave him a Pleasant welcome and went back to their duties. Jamal went to his Room and freshened up then he changed into a Plain Vest and sat down on the White Cushion to unpack his Luggage. He hanged all the clothes Jae bought for him in the En Suite and the Handkerchiefs in a Drawer, as he was sorting the Luggage, he came across his Journal, then he relaxed his back on the cushion and flipped the Front cover, on the first page, Jae wrote her House address, Landline and Contact info and on the Second page, she left a note for him which said thus

“Getting to spend time with you has really changed my view about the Male gender, though you started out as Mr Arrogant and Rude but your Camouflage I believe couldn’t hide the Loving and caring Person that you are. You brought a lot of Light to my Life in this short period we Co habited, you made me think less of the misfortune that befell my family, you were a good companion and you never thought of taking Advantage of me, I can now Smile reassuringly knowing that Tomorrow will be better because of you, Heaven knows I’ll miss you dearly when you finally leave me. Safe journey back to your Home and I pray our paths cross again

Jamal was moved to tears, he placed the Letter inside a glass plate on the Davenport after he tore it out from the Journal carefully; then he arranged the rest of his stuff and went downstairs for Dinner. After eating, he discussed with his Wealth Demon disguised as his Butler before he went back to his Room to have his Night rest with Jae occupying his Mind.

“AT CARAMEL’S ROOM”

Caramel slept off and Norah tucked her in, she gave her a light peck on her Forehead to avoid waking her.

Norah: What would my Life have been like if you weren’t part of it, I even forgot my own Birthday and you took it upon yourself to plan a Surprise party for me and buy me a gift? Thank you very much my little Princess, I love you beyond measure (She switched off the Light and left for her Room)
