Aria spun around and scanned the forest. Dead quiet.....what was going on?!....not in the mood for pranks and scares, she stood straight and squared her shoulders. "I know you're out there. What do you want?!" Silence stretched before her. Right when she thought she was going crazy, she heard it. It was faint but it was there. The light footsteps of someone approaching her from behind. So quiet, normal senses would never pick it up. She felt the air shift as a hand snaked out to grab her. Instantly she ducked and brought her leg up behind her as hard and fast as she could. She felt the contact and heard the surprised gasp of its recipient as he hit the ground. She got to her feet and whirled around to face her stalker. A Vampire stood before her. He had barely hit the ground before recovering and getting to his feet. Vampires were the kings of stealth. They blended into the shadows and were hard to hunt or find....he looked at her in amusement. Putting his hands in his pockets, he began to walk a circle around her. Aria followed him with her eyes. never letting him behind her. "What do you want from me?" she asked, thankful her fear didn't come out in her voice. He ignored the question. "You knew I was here. How?" He asked thoughtfully. He stopped and turned towards her. Expecting an answer. "Women's intuition." she said bluntly. He smirked and resumed his walking. "Not many creatures can sense a vampire....yet you've felt me everytime. How intriguing." He stopped again. "Werewolves are the only species that can even come close to sensing us.....yet you smell like a filthy human." Aria glared at him. She was neither but for some reason she didn't want him to know what she was. "What do you want from me?" She asked again. "Oh deary, don't you see. I want you....your blood." His eyes became dark and his smile widened. Aria struggled to keep her balance. She was feeling so hot. Why is she so hot. Finding her voice, she tried to sound confident. "I know your laws. You cannot take the blood of another magical being. Nor can you kill one of us without probable cause. It violates the treaty amongst our Kingdoms." His laugh sent a chilling wave up her spine. His voice became deadly as his eyes met hers. "Deary.....rogues don't follow rules." Aria felt the air shift as he disappeared before her eyes. They called it fleeting. They move so fast, they give off the illusion of teleporting. In an instant his cold hand was around her throat. Instinctively her hands clawed at his as she gasped for air. Aria cursed herself for being so lax. She knew better. She had taken mystical self defense classes. The vampire brought her face close to his. "My my my.....you're even prettier up close. Maybe I'll play a while.....work up a thirst." Fear and horror rose to the surface when she realized what he meant. "No..." she choked out. She fought him but he was so strong. She felt herself growing weaker by the second. His other hand jerked the zipper of her jacket, breaking it completely. She struggled harder as his hand continued to explore. He started at her breasts and moved down her stomach. She struggled harder when he unbuttoned her shorts and slid his hand in between her legs. She was repulsed. "NO!" she croaked out...His grip tightened around her throat and she felt his tongue trace across her lips. He took her bottom lip into his mouth and felt the small sting as his tooth scraped her sensitive skin causing it to bleed. He moaned in pleasure as he sucked and licked. He pulled her close to his body and shoved his hardened companion against her. His intention was clear. She tried to scream but his mouth on hers drowned her out....it seemed to get him more excited. She punched and kicked and clawed and he felt nothing. His skin healing almost instantly from her attacks. He grabbed the V in her tshirt and ripped it down. Exposing her sports bra. His hand slid out of her shorts and back up her stomach and he slid his hand underneath her bra and roughly twisted her n****e. She cried out in pain and he twisted even harder.....her pain making him harder. Tears flowed freely down her face. How is this happening? She closed her eyes and tried to think of anything else. She felt a strange connection click into place in her mind. She focused all her strength on it. She wasn't sure what it was but she felt drawn to it. She opened her mind to that link "Please help me! Please!" she shouted desperately. "Please!" A rough shake brought her back to reality, breaking the connection. "Don't be passing out on me now. You'll miss all the fun." Desperation hit Aria like a wave. A hot wave that seemed to be getting hotter by the second. Her whole body felt like it was going to explode. Flames erupted all around her....they seemed to be coming from everywhere.. The vampire cried in pain as his arm went up in flames and she felt the release on her neck. She hit the ground hard gasping for air. Her vision going in and out. "You b***h! How did you do that?!" he screamed as he fought the fire. He quickly ripped his jacket off and threw it on the ground. His arm was charred up and down. It wasn't healing. What happened? Aria thought as she struggled to stay awake. She couldn't pass out now. She had to fight but she was exhausted. Her body was done...she wanted to escape back to her mind. To that connection....that safe connection....
