The Kissing Booth A New Chapter

NEW YEARS EVE

I decided to forgive him since the new year was coming.  As usual, we set the house up for a Flynn bash and invited all the usual suspects.  It was great to see everyone and introduce them to Peter and the Covey girls.  Brad had his party that the rents were going to be with Kitty, so everyone was going to have a good time.  The only thing was that June had decided to let Lee suffer a little longer since he only had two more weeks of purple hair or should I say almost pink hair now.   

Once everyone showed up we all just had a blast it was kind of funny watching Tuppen follow Margot around like a little puppy dog.  I kept giggling at him and rolling my eye's.  Lara Jean walked up, "they look cute together."  "I know right I have never seen Charles so gaga over a girl not even when he date Olivia from the OMG girls."  "Those were the mean girls that pushed you on the stage to kiss a dork, but you ended up kissing Flynn right."  "Yep, they are unfortunately for Tuppen when Noah and I broke up Olivia broke up with him thinking she was going to have a shot.  The worst of it all was all she wanted was to say she slept with Noah and stole him from me."

"That sucks."  "Yep, she even tried getting back together with Tuppen, but he would have none of it. I feel sorry for him because of what she put him through."  "Yeah, but Flynn  said to watch him."  "Noah only knows the Charles that was around when he was in school.  He never really got to know the Charles that he became after he went to Harvard.  Especially not the person Charles turned into after Noah broke up with me.  If Noah had come home during the time I was broken Charles, Duncan and a few other football players all wanted to kick his ass for hurting me."  "Wow were they all in love with you?"  "I don't know they never said, but I think it was more about the fact that he never let any of them ask me out because he didn't think they were good enough for me at least that is what he told them.  Then for them to find out that it was because he wanted me for himself a lot of the guys were pissed.  So, when he hurt me they all saw red because to them, he prevented them from having a chance because he didn't want them to hurt me, but he was the one that hurt me."   

"I can see where they are coming from not wanting you to be hurt.  Kind of like Josh and Peter."  "Who is Josh?"  "Josh is my childhood best friend and next-door neighbor.  Like we told you I wrote letters to all the guys I had ever loved, and well, Josh was one of them.  I thought I loved him before he started dating Margot, but when he did, I wrote him a love letter to let him go.  As we told you Kitty mailed them and Josh got his, and when Peter and I started dating he didn't take it well he didn't want me to get hurt.  Kept telling me that Peter was going to hurt me, but it was his fault I got hurt, and he was the cause of mine and Margot's relationship from almost being destroyed."  "Why, what do you mean?"  "Oh, he kissed me at our Christmas party, and both Peter and Margot saw Peter broke up with me and let's say it took a while for us to get back together he believed I wanted Josh to kiss me.  Luckily Margot finally let me explain everything, and she forgave me.  I no longer speak to Josh because he had a hard time letting go I don't believe he ever loved Margot or me he just wanted to marry a Covey girl I think he would have gone after Kitty if she was older since now he found a new girl and won't even say hi to our dad from his parents driveway."   

I just shook my head "Look at us two girls with guys we adore and who adore us and we had to go through a break up for all of us to realize how important we are to each other."  "Right, we are a pair."  "Oh, don't' forget we need to go and get the guys fitted tomorrow for the wedding."  "Yeah, I can't believe you were able to get an appointment on New Years Day."  "Yeah, I was as well I thought we were going to have to wait and do it all in Boston, but this place opens on New Years Day to allow people to drop off their rentals."  "So what is next on your list?"  "Noah and I will be going on the second to look at venues, and then on the third, we check out caterers."

"Oh, sounds like fun."  "Yeah, I guess."  "Hey, Elle what is wrong?"  "I just wish my mom could be here for all of this I know she would have loved being here."  "Yeah, I know the feeling the idea that when the time comes for my sisters and me, she won't be here for us drives me crazy sometimes."  As the tears fall down my face "I used to dream that she would be there to help pick out my dress...well everything and now she won't be, and I hate having to tell all these wedding associates that she is gone.  If it wasn't for June, I don't know what I would do."  "Yeah, at least you have June we don't have anyone like her in our lives."  "What was she like your mom, I mean?"  "She was crazy.  Her and June were best friends forever and well when they had Me and my twin they hoped we would become best friends and boy were they happy when we did, but they never counted on the twinlepathy we have.  It would drive all the family crazy that we could have a conversation just looking at each other, and the trouble we would get into was hilarious.  She never really got mad about that stuff hell she encouraged us to do things together as twins/best friends.  I feel in my heart she always knew Noah, and I would end up together. Because whenever someone joked about Lee and I ending up together and I would gag my mom would shake her head saying Nah Lee and my Elle will never end up together there is someone else she will end up with, and he is closer than she knows or even he does."  "That sounds awesome that your mom was already shipping you two."  "Well, the story goes that the day I was born after I was placed in Noah's arms, he looked at my mom and declared I was his."   

"That I did, we even have a video of me saying that after I held her in my arms.  I love the fact that I was her first hug, first kiss, well..."  "NOAH SHUT UP!!!  I can't believe you."  I know I blushed five shades of red by the heat flaming my face, and all Noah did was chuckle "ahh, Shelly baby, you look so sexy when you blush."  I punched him, "behave you Neanderthal."  Lara Jean and Peter were laughing since he came up with Noah and Peter smirked: "Well, I might not be able to say I was Lara Jean's first hug, but I can say I was the first for everything else."  Lara Jean blushed and smacked Peter "Damn you two boys need to stop before Elle, and I make you both celibate."  I started laughing at their faces, and Noah nuzzled my neck "I have my ways of making sure that never happens."  "Need I remind you about when we first started to get back together."  William walked up and heard that last comment "oh, are we talking about how you teased the hell out of Flynn when you two first started dating after the breakup."  I giggled, "yep, I don't know how many cold showers I made him take during that time."  Noah glared at me, "Shelly, you are not funny."  "Not trying to be just stating a fact." "Your mean Shelly baby" Noah pouted at me.  I shook my head, "don't talk about things that are private between the two of us remember, unlike Lee, I have two ways to pay you back."  His eyes opened wide, "you  wouldn't dare prank me."  "That or you sleep in the guest room."  "Ok, you win I will behave myself and leave our personal life between the two of us and not the rest of the world."  "Good this is your first and final warning next time you will pay."  I leaned up and placed my lips on his giving him a chaste kiss. 

It wasn't long after that the party ended, and we all said goodbye to everyone.  As the Covey girls left with Kitty, Peter and Dr. Covey to their hotel, the rents all came home.  It was at this time that Noah and I jumped on his bike and headed to my dad's house and went inside to go straight to the backyard after locking up.  I looked at Noah smiled, "so, are you and Peter getting along."  "Yes, we are getting along.  Unfortunately, way too much I tell him things I never expected to talk to him about."  "Like what exactly Noah?"  "Well about our relationship how I love you how just, you walking into the same room as me even if I can't see you, I feel my whole soul light up."  "Same here, baby, I can just sense where you are when we are close together, and I always feel happier and safer knowing you are in the same area as me."  "Are you telling me the very independent Rochelle "Elle"  My sweet Shelly"  Evans likes it when I go all Neanderthal-like you enjoy calling me when I am trying to protect you."  I giggled and cuddled into him "I love you Noah and have for as long as I can remember you are the only guy for me I am all your heart and soul.  Though it drives me crazy how much you like to protect me, and I sometimes feel smothered; I love that you care so much that you become a little possessive.  You don't just get upset because a guy is looking at me you get upset if he tries something and puts his hands on me.  You give me a chance well more like you are trying to give me the chance to handle it myself."  

He pulled me in closer "that is because I trust you Shelly baby.  It still drives me crazy watching a guy check you out or even tries to ask you out even though you are wearing my ring on your finger, but that is because I have loved you since the first moment I met you, and my love has only grown every day since then. I know I screwed up and I can never apologize enough for hurting you, but that was also the worst time in my life being separated from you when I was able to see you every day except when I was at football camp since you were always at my house. Living in Boston and only seeing able to see you, Shelly, when I came home or on Skype was never enough. Even though you were dating that asshat that I wanted to throw through a wall the best thing that ever happened was when you came to Boston, and I could see you every day even though he was with you a lot during the beginning. Although now you are all mine and I don't plan on ever letting you go for anybody well unless you help me fulfill  my full dream for us."  "What exactly is that dream, Noah?" "Well if I tell you, you can't get upset it is a long-term dream."  "I won't, I promise."  "Well, my dream is..."
