LEE'S MISTAKE

Looking down at Ro, I couldn't help but think I do not deserve this girl at all. I smile at her "the question should be would you give me a chance. Right now, I am going to have to deal with the fact I have been living on prescription meds and alcohol and just made a mess with of my relationship with my bestie/twin and big bro. Not to mention the fact I have treated women like a piece of meat. Do you think you can forgive me?" She smiles up at me "Yes I can, I went through something similar a few years back so that I can relate. Yet, you will have to prove you are worthy of a real relationship." "Good I am glad I only hope Noah and Elle will be willing to forgive me." I hung my head thinking about the things I saw in the video. I still can't believe I encouraged William to go after Shelly. Hell, I can't believe I went after her knowing that there is nothing between us. Yeah, I forgot all about that kiss we shared that proved we were just friends. I guess after everything Rachel did to me I couldn't let it go. The more I think about it, Rachel f****d me over. Her cheating on me with of all people Warren got to me. The worst part was I found out recently, and maybe this is where all the drinking and drugs came in; she never really loved me. She only kissed me, hoping that Noah would find out about it and give her a chance since she didn't let me stand there as if I was a complete reject.

EPOV

After arriving in Charlottesville even though the Covey's wanted us to stay at their place Noah and I didn't feel right staying there since we were used to sharing a room and it wouldn't be appropriate with Kitty. Plus I know my Noah there was no way you could behave himself for a solid week, especially since I have taken to sleeping in all his old jersey's. Peter's place was off-limits only because his mom said she didn't care that we were engaged; we would not be sharing a room with each other if we stayed at her place. When Noah heard that he whispered, "so not happening, I can't sleep without you now." I giggled shaking my head at him Peter's mom looked at us "What you two think I will let you all sleep in the same bed just because of a ring on her finger? I am not stupid for all I know that is just an excuse to use to be able to do something your parents would never allow." I started laughing, "Mrs. Kavinsky, not that I expect you to change your mind, but when we go back home, we sleep in our room back home at his parent's place. Well actually it used to be just his room until this past Christmas break when neither of us could sleep on our own, and our parents decided just to let us share a room since we were already doing that back at school in the apartment they bought for us." 

 At this point, my phone rang. I looked down, groaned, "what do you want twin?" Noah looked at me as I mouthed Lee. He glared, "Put him on speaker now." "Shelly M&D said that if you and Noah are OK with me coming down there, they will get me my way down and whether or not you two want to see me they will send you tickets to come back since Lara Jean and Peter are flying back." I looked at Noah "bro if you come don't expect us to be all-forgiving after what you did." "I know just please I need to talk to you two and if you can't forgive me I will come back and move out and you will never have to talk to me again." Noah looked at me, and I took a deep breath "Look twin you are not moving out even if I don't forgive you June and Mathew helped pay for the apartment and it is not my place to kick you out." "Yeah, but Max helped pay as well." I laughed, "Lee, we both know my dad didn't contribute as much as your parents did." "Ok well I will be down there in a few hours M&D reserved me a room in the same hotel you two are staying at, and they said not to worry they are paying for the hotel since you all didn't go to the beach house because of me." "Ok, see in a few."

After hanging up with Lee, I could tell that Noah wasn't happy. He glared at me, "seriously Shelly baby after what he did?" "Noah babe he is your brother and my best friend we have to give him a chance to explain. We both know that is not the real Lee we have been dealing with and if he is coming to us now then it means your parents were able to reach him, or someone did, and if we want him to stay with us we need to meet him halfway, but he does have a lot to make up for." "Fine but the first time he even hints at you two...I swear I will put my little brother in the hospital. I finally have you back in my arms, and no one is coming between us, and that includes my little bro. If it means we never see him again then so be it, I have fought too hard to make you mine." I wrapped my arms around his neck before tiptoeing "I won't let anything come between us again, babe. I love you with everything I am Noah since I decided back when we were in High School that you were more important than Lee you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your little bro."

We called an uber and had them pick us up since we were going to allow our friends to spend some quality time with their families. As we cuddled in the back of the car, Noah leaned over whispering "so, my hot sexy fiancee when getting to the hotel get dressed in my fave dress so we can go out. I talked to Peter, and I have a nice romantic night planned for us we haven't gone out just the two of us in a while, and before my little brother recks our vacation, I plan on making the most of tonight." I chuckle "Ok but remember we have that paper due for history, and I have that test on civil law." "I still can't believe you were able to get into a junior-level class already." "Hello all the AP exams I took helped me out a lot."

After we got ready, I took her out to Boylan Heights for burgers and fries. Even though I know my girl loves her steak, I also know when my girl wants a good old-fashioned burger. Then on to a walk along the downtown walking mall. All I knew was I wanted to spend as much time with my girl alone as I could. We had made it to Boylan Heights and ordered our food and drinks before we started talking about our future.

Me: Baby is everything set for the wedding?

Elle: Yep, unless you didn't like that band that Lee introduced us to we need to know soon so my dad can reserve him

Me: I thought mom was taking care of the reservations.

Elle: Oh, my Uncle Tony is paying for the band as a gift to us, so my dad said he would take care of the band.

Me: I like them since they can play everything.

Elle: Oops there is one thing our song you asked to let you give me a list

Me: Oh, yeah our song I thought The search is Over by Survivor.

Elle: I love it perfect. I was going to dance to I loved her first by Heartland for my dance with my dad.

Me: Hmm, I don't know that song let me hear it, please.

I watched her giggle as she played the song for me and I grinned

Me: Are we sure about that Shelly baby I fell in love with you the minute I saw you in your dad's arms as my mom said I looked at your mom and said: "Mary mine Lee can't have her."

She laughed before shaking her head at me.

Elle: True you fell in love with me the day I was born but remember my dad fell in love with me the minute my mom told him she was pregnant with me.

Me: Yeah, I guess I don't like the fact the song says I loved her first.

Elle: baby if you listened to the whole song it talks about a dad handing over his little girl to her future husband and letting him know that no matter what he will always be there for her.

Me: Oh, ok, I guess.

Elle: Babe thinks about it hard who will love our little girl first out of all men.

Without thinking, my mind went plowing through a few walls, and I jumped up grinning looking down at my sweet Shelly.

Me: Really...when did you find out?

She looked at me puzzled at first and then started laughing out loud

Elle: Down big boy, I am not pregnant yet. Remember we are waiting until at least my last semester of Law School. Not to mention that as long as I am on a scholarship through soccer, I can't afford to get pregnant right now.

Me: Damn Shelly baby, you made me think we were going to be parents.

Elle: Noah, you want me to be already pregnant.

Me: Hell if I had my way the day I proposed to you would have also been the day we were married, and the day I impregnated you.

She gasped and glared at me

Elle: Well I am glad that I am making sure that is not happening then I wouldn't put it passed you to sabotage our protection if I left it up to you.

Me: Well...

Elle: Noah, please tell me you didn't

Me: Well, the day I proposed and you agreed you wanted a family eventually even though we hadn't discussed when. I did sabotage my provisions, but it doesn't matter since you get the shot and since I didn't want Lee or William to have an accident because of my stupidity I threw them away about a week after Lee and Beth broke up.

Elle: Damn it Noah that explains why one day there was a box and the next day there wasn't.

Me: What do you mean baby?

Elle: Well the night Lee met well you know the individual that shares the same relationship with her bestie as me and your little bro does.

Me: Yeah, damn Shelly you didn't you gave one to Lee

Elle: Yeah, he asked if we had any that we could spare. I gave him one of the boxes.

Me: s**t, I thought I was missing a box. Wait...you and my little bro talk about his s*x life.

Elle: Duh we have been through this baby hello best friend.

I groaned I helped her out of her chair seeing we had finished eating our meal and the waitress had just come back with our change. As we head out, I try calming myself down because of no matter what I hate the fact that my baby talks about s*x with another guy.

Me: Elle baby how often does Lee talk about his s*x life with you

Elle: Well, the last time was with you know who and that only happened once I don't know anything about the girls he has been with recently. Although now I need to talk to him about them because of the fact he used your condoms that were sabotaged, and he might have made you an Uncle, and it will be funny explaining how it is your fault.
