The Kissing Booth A New Chapter

NPOV 

Even though I know, it is not the right time, and I still have to prove to my Shelly I won't let another woman or person blackmail me I can't help but think I need to ask her to move in with me.  Even though what Brad brought me from home is sitting in my nightstand driving me crazy.  I need to find the right moment to ask her and not worry about the fact that I might be jumping the gun but I know I love her and want to spend the rest of my life with her.  I know I want to see her belly swell with our first children.  Yes, I want several and not only two like our parents no I want a full house of little mini Shelly's running around.  That night when we first kissed I knew then something I had only hoped for, and that was this is the girl for me she is the one that I am meant to spend my life with and build a family.  Damn, she has done it to me again laying here in my arms she has taken my breath away with the possibility of a future one I thought I had lost one I felt was out of my grasp. 

I eventually realized that this day was when we were supposed to do our presentation for our literature class and we both have to get ready, and I believe that poor Elle is going to take a little longer than usual.  I am just grateful that Shelly is so annul about her homework that we have had it done now for over a week.  I gently prod her awake so we can get to class, and she can get ready.  She groans and rolls away from me, and I lean down and whisper "Shelly baby I know your awake and have been for a while now get up, or I am going to tickle you we have to get to class.  She groans and glares at me before placing a chaste kiss on my lips.  I moan and pull her against me and crash my lips on her giving her a deep kiss since me pulling her up against me caused her to gasp and allowed me entrance so I could explore her mouth. I let her go and jump into my shower while she takes off to hers to get ready.  After showering and pulling on my costume, I can't help but think this is the time where men didn't care about being manly all they cared about was being a gentleman and taking care of the woman they love.   

After making sure everything was where it was supposed to be including the pocket watch Shelly found me I start walking out to the main area Lee takes one look at me and starts laughing I glare at him "you are just jealous that you could never pull this off since only a real man can pull off this outfit."   At that point, Shelly walks out, and I am at a loss for words.  I don't understand how this woman can wear so much clothing and all I can think about is slowly removing each piece to get to the delectable prize beneath.  Shelly looks so sexy wearing her Anne Shirley dress I am having a hard time controlling myself I mean she is always sexy but to me the more she covers up, the more I want to peel away the layers.  I find it funny some of my favorite things my Shelly wears leaves little to the imagination, unlike some of the girls around here.  I take her hand, and we walk to our class to give our report to the class.   

As we walk in everyone is staring at us, and I feel my Shelly lean into me trying to hide her face.  I laugh "Ok, come Shelly you are living your dream pretending to be Anne and holding on to your Gilbert."  The professor called up all of us that had come dressed since he wasn't sure we would get through all the presentations in one day and there were only three of us.  We had to guess what each couple was dressed as and my Shelly nailed the two other couples one was Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw from Wuthering Heights and the only other couple beside Shelly and me were Elinor Dashwood and Colonel Brandon from Sense and Sensibility.  When we stood up, everyone had a hard time guessing until finally one girl in the back yelled I am guessing Anne Shirley Blythe and Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables, but the dress is all wrong.  The professor stood up "Why do you say that?"  "Well, she was wearing a skirt and blouse when Gilbert proposed."  The professor shook his head "Mr. and Mrs. Blythe care to explain."  I look at Noah, and he nods.  "Yes, in the movie that is what she is wearing but in the books Anne wears a green dress that Gilbert told her at a Redmond reception he especially liked on her.  In the books, you find out that Gilbert loves Anne in Green because of what it does to her hair."  The professor smiles "Correct Mr. and Mrs. Blythe now please present your book and how you end up getting married in later years."  Shelly and I explain the book to everyone taking turns, but when it comes to the details of how Gilbert and Anne get together, I left that up to Shelly.  After we finished the professor handed me our grade before we walked out we get an A for dressing up but we also got an A for the presentation because we didn't bring any part of the movie in and when someone asked us about something they thought was in the book we were able to tell them it was only in the movie.   

 After getting back to the apartment, I tell Shelly to get ready for dinner, and she is more than willing to get out of her dress for a few hours.  Before I can knock on her door, she is already out in the central area waiting for me.  I lead her out the door and down the street to the dinner I have planned for her.  As usual, my girl orders the steak and potatoes meal as do I both of us with a diet coke and enjoy our dinner.  I can't help but think maybe this is the night perhaps I should do it now.  I was just about to pull out the ring when she looks at the time and says If we are going to be getting to the contest we need to leave now I will take a while to put everything back on."  "Ok, Shelly baby let's do this."   

Once we were back at the apartment, I get dressed and lay down in just my slacks, shoes, white button-down shirt, vest and tie.  I had my pocket watch on the nightstand and my jacket lying over the end of my bed.  I was lying in my bed waiting to go to the Halloween carnival, and I kept hearing the professor refer to us as Mr. and Mrs. Blythe.  Although in my mind I kept picturing the day we would be referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Noah Xavier Flynn.  Damn playing a married couple has not done anything for me to keep my imagination in check.  While I am dreaming of the day I can make Elle my wife there is a knock on the door.  "Come in."  "Hey, if we are going to make the competition we should head out now."  I grin at her "Ok let's go."  I grab my coat and pulled it on and grab the pocket watch again and put it on.  I look at my shelly and ask "so, how do I look."  She walks up to me and fixes my collar "very dapper the only problem with this outfit it hides that eight-pack of yours but then again that could be a good thing because it is all mine."  I groan and lean down "Shelly baby keep saying stuff like that we will never leave this apartment."   

After walking out to the quad and signing up for the contest, we walked around and enjoyed the different booths.  There was even an antique booth to dress up and take antique-looking pictures but seeing as we were already dressed up in old-fashioned clothes we just had to take a picture.  After finishing up  there, we made our way to the judging I looked up at Noah and reminded him "don't forget this is a time period where what we now consider a chaste kiss was scandalous there unless it was between a husband and wife."  "Ok, so no dipping you and taking your breath away on stage."  "Yep, none of that young man."  We made our way to the stage and behaved as if we were Anne and Gilbert.  Paul came up and looked us up and down and nodded, turning, "this is something Anne and Gilbert would have worn."  He moved on to the next couple, and he ended up eliminating four out of the seven couples that were participating.  I thought it was funny; it ended up being only those of us in our literature class.  Well, since we didn't behave like a modern-day couple, we ended up winning which made my Shelly very happy."   

I took Shelly to L.A. Brunswick to let her enjoy some chocolate.  I find it funny she doesn't like chocolate ice cream, but she loves good chocolate candy.  As we walked in, there was Paul waiting for us and as we allowed Elle to pick out what she wanted to try Paul looked at me and smiled and winked at me.  After fixing our plate and getting three hot chocolates, I look at my sweet Shelly "Elle sweetie."  She looks up at me "yes Noah."  "There is a reason I invited this gentleman to join us."  "What would that be babe?"  "This is Paul Montgomery he is Lucy Maude Montgomery's cousin twice removed."  She looks at me throws her arms around my neck "oh, thank you, Noah, thank you thank you thank you."  She started giggling "your mom is going to be so jealous." We spent an hour talking to Paul, and he gave us his number so we can let him know how things were going between us.  Once we were home, I had a lot of fun stripping the layers of Shelly's clothing and allowing her to do the same.  That night I worshiped her body as she did mine.  Falling asleep with her in my arms and waking up with her there made decide that I will be asking her to move in with me no matter what. 

EPOV 

Laying here in Noah's arms, I can't stop myself from wondering if maybe I should just let him completely into my life.  Hell for the last few nights I have made love multiple times with Noah, fallen asleep laying next to him and woken up in his arms.  I don't know if he is ready for me to take the next step in our relationship.  Wait maybe he is damn it I just remembered he was going to ask me something and I cut him off stupid, stupid, stupid Elle."  I know I would love for us to decided to share a room and behave more like we are living together as a couple than us living together as roommates.  The only other thing is how Lee will take this ah who cares.  I know he will be happy for us, but I also know that he is worried that his brother will hurt me again.  I can't blame him seeing the picture of Noah with that other girl broke me, especially since it was one week after we had made love for the last time.  I think before we move forward I need to come clean with Noah about Lewis I don't know if I can.
